Story: Not feeling great mentally for reasons I detailed in the secret place , which is why I even did it. Provoked a random duke who was a major pain in the ass into rebelling so I could imprison him, and because of multiple centuries of me and the AI not paying enough attention to who's landed where and who's a vassal of who, I'm fighting a war on three fronts. (Somewhere north of the Alps, middle of Italy, and the African side of Gibraltar.)

Already over my vassal limit and none of the vassal contracts I could transfer were of count level and above, so reduced income, already lower than I'd like after helping my heir out with his own rebellion (he took over towards the end of that war). Had a 14k retinue sitting in England, but they were strictly reserved for the likely scenario of the Pope trying to push for independence (was at 90%ish plot power). Battle goes great, RNJesus decides to grant the rebelling duke a victory straight out of their ass. Not feeling trying to salvage the shitshow I walked into. 

Gonna give CK2 a break for a while, redo the same game, maybe actually stick to my goal to keep external expansion outside Britannia's dejure borders to a minimum (always gonna try and vassalize the Papacy)

Update: Of course after the fact, I realized I should've pushed for Imperial Administration right after Absolute Primogeniture.
