There was a piece in The Sun yesterday about Olympiakos, who, despite conceding 9 pens in their last 20 CL/EL matches, they haven't conceded a penalty in 80 league games, stretching back 2 and a half years to 2011.

And, the ref who awarded that pen in 2011 was struck off afterwards and never reffed another match!

Victor Valdes suffered a torn ACL in tonight's win over Celta Vigo and will probably be out for about six months, meaning that he's played his last game for Barcelona and will miss the World Cup aswell.

As a result, De Gea will probably go instead as Spain's third choice GK.
