Tough break for Darvish. Great performance. But every perfect game just reminds me of Galarraga's blown-perfect game. I remember watching that live, but what transpired after is always so inspiring. I just wish regular tv broadcast clips of epic baseball moments were available for viewing on YouTube but tthe MLB act like friggin' Nazi's when it comes to game clips.

EDIT: I definitely have the Tigers over anyone in the World Series this year. Last season should have built a lot of hunger in those boys, not to mention they're even better this season. It's always nice living in a town where one of the sports team is a legitimate title contender. I'm gonna make sure to go to a bunch of Tigers games this season, even though I'm an Indians fan through and through.

and here in Philly, I get to watch the sad decline of Doc Halladay :(

In the past 3 years, I've either drafted or attempted to draft Halladay for my fantasy team. I didn't this year. The only pitchers I had last year that I went after again (and I got both :) ) were Aroldis Chapman and some guy named R.A. Dickey.

Carlos Marmol's lost the closer position to Kyuji Fujikawa after yesterday's blown save for the Cubbies. I don't think I've ever seen Fujikawa play before, so it'll be interesting to see how long this lasts/how he does.

He can't be much worse than Marmol.

O's are 0-3 in 1-run games to start the season. 2 of these losses are in part due to defensive mistakes. The total opposite of what happened in games last year. Far too early to get worried, as these are probably just flukes and things will balance out as the season goes on.

I'm excited to see a team like the Blue Jays making moves to become contenders, but they really haven't looked good to start out with. Watching the Tigers here in Michigan is a blast because they usually always kick ass (Prince is a fucking boss, exclamation point) and I can't wait to go see them at Comercia once the weather cheers up. My Indians are looking like how they should at this point, but it's gonna be another tough year. One comment I really want to make is, what's with these scores so far this year. I swear every game is like an 11-2 box score. It's crazy.
