Plus I've seen the TV adverts - they're as pointlessly naff as all FM adverts have ever been.

They need to take a hint from the adverts of [football betting site I can't recall the name of] and promote stupid things. I'm thinking of whosever ads it is with the "mass handshake refusals", "in-play manager sackings", etc. The FM ad I've seen this year is just the classic "FOOTBALL...you could WIN AND BE REALLY HAPPY...or...LOSE AND NOT BE REALLY HAPPY. You know how FOOTBALL works? Pretend to play FOOTBALL with our FOOTBALL game! FOOTBALL!"

I know that my inability to remember the betting site's name basically rules said adverts a complete failure on the most basic level of adverts, but that's not the point!

If you're not betting on how many yellow cards there will be in the 2nd half, with a pint of Fosters in one hand and a Lambert and Butler in the other, you aren't watching football right and I would question whether you are a man or not.
