Thought it would make sense to have some next gen console specific threads as the mega threads are years old and are focused on current gen. Maybe a PS4er will want to to do the same.

Anyway, Microsoft have released a live demo of the dash/UI and it looks amazing:

My gamertag is Danhufc and I'm getting FIFA 14, NBA 2K14, Ryse and Dead Rising 3. I'll play multi or Co-op on any of them so shoot me an invite :)

Gamertags:

Will add these post-launch

Do we really need new threads for next gen consoles? Especially when the current threads aren't titled "360 or PS3", they're "Sony and Microsoft". :P

It'll be much easier for someone who buys the console to just come into a X1 or PS4 thread to find stuff instead of having to look through a bunch of posts about last gen.

Essentially, if there are any 360 games coming out within the next few years that you want to play, you better keep your 360 around for that.

After rewatching the dash video from the first post with my girlfriend, I'm more than happy with the next-gen choice we've made. This thing will be the main device in the living room. Everything is so fast and fluid and just impressive.

Even the Sony biased Neogaf gaming section are very impressed with it, hopefully the Kinect stuff will be fine with my awful accent though :P

If you thought not being able to use the Blu-Ray player on your PS4 without the day 1 update was bad, well...

Everyone knew this coming in anyways - well, anyone following this. Which I assume is the majority of early adapters.

Great news: Access to free games each month is coming for Xbox Live Gold members on #XboxOne – Details coming later in 2014
