The online stuff seems so cool and what the likes of Fifa etc should be doing but never will.

The two things that put me off is I don't much are for the NFL, and that Srar will get her Fifa revenge on me and somehow end up breaking something of mine.

Played Transistor tonight. It kinda reminds me of Torchlight 2, which I loved...but I'm not sure how I feel about Transistor yet...

Pre ordered The Order today and have next Friday off work. I don't think I've been this excited for a game since Bioshock Infinite.

Anyone else getting it? Worth me starting a thread?

I'm not pre-ordering. Been suckered in too many times so goong to wait it out to make sure it isn't a buggy mess like half the AAA games last year.

I stopped preordering games. After the debacle of ACU with its glitches and bugginess, I now wait until a month after games come out to buy them. I'm not paying $60 to be a beta tester

I like the look of The Order's steampunk setting, but the gameplay looks like Gears of War with added quick-time events, and that doesn't appeal to me. Plus most of the previews I've read haven't been very favourable about it, so I'd be cautious about it.

Nothing about The Order has looked promising from what I've read and seen.

My biggest turn off is that you play the whole game through with the black bars at the top and bottom, though.

I know it's a moot point since I'm pretty sure you can't play the new systems on anything other than HD but imagine playing it in SD, double the black bars!

Nope, 100% legit. It's the only way they could get it running at 1080p, supposedly.

Apparently it's a lot less jarring that The Evil Within was, so there's that.

But hey, it was always going to be a day one purchase for me, steampunk Victorian cinematic werewolves is basically my middle name.
