I really shouldn't be this annoyed, but at least Driveclub gives me *a* racing game on PS4. Nobody allows even reprinting of cars, for crying out loud.

It´s so wacky that in a next gen console they still don´t just send you the up to date game but rather have you pull a 10GB patch right after you downloaded the basic app and application data.

Make sure you guys try a DriveClub race in the rain using cockpit view. Turn the day/night cycle to fast or whatever too so you get to experience it at night, it's probably the best looking next gen console thing I've seen.

Can anyone in America confirm it's even available? I don't see that anywhere in the store or when I search just the letters "DRIV".

Still not there. Not in the Add-Ons, still $24.99 for + members, still has a full game trial, and I still want to bang my head against the desk.

Now it's listed as a Demo, which makes me a lil' leery. Hell, downloaded it anyways. Does look pretty.

Fair warning, though: initial download is just under 16 GB and there is a 10 GB update file. So, y'know, don't plan on playing it soon or anything.

The Update File now has been loading for a day at least. It´s getting slower and slower, the finaly 500mb took all day today and the last 60 are supposed to take another 27 minutes.

There are a bunch of free cares and paint jobs on PSN aswell.

I think you can also buy a couple more for 70 cent each or something. As i said there are like 44 or 45 DLCs.

I've heard that download speeds have been shit on Sonys servers in Europe lately so not surprised to hear that from you, Matzat. Left it downloading myself this morning so I'll be interested to see how it gone on when I check it later.

Holy shit. Played this for an hour or so and I nearly bought Project Cars out of spite.

Nearly everything is locked and the handling is garbage. It's pretty, but I still want a goddamn racing game on my PS4. F this nonsense.

A frind told me the same yesterday, he said he caved in and bought the 25€ edition a while back. After 3 hours he switched to the crew.

I don´t know yet, only gave the first race a short try and was a million miles away from getting the controlls.

Doesn't help that they start you in a Mercedes with 11 other cars on a twist-filled track (turns out the track was dead all along) and in terrible conditions. They the penalize you for going off track, hitting anything, and rewarding you only when you drive near perfection.

GTA is a better racing game.

I think in the second lap they even cut the ideal line from the concrete (or i turned it of by pushing all buttons).

I don´t mind the challenge, i was just a little overwhelmed and decided to read instead fairly quick.

There isn't a racing line, at least not for me by default, are you thinking of the corner challenge that can pop up during a lap?

Game is OK, looks very nice yes with all the weather and everything but I have Forza if I have a racing itch to scratch so...eh?
