First post updated with all the bands announced so far - looks pretty decent to me!

Not particularly bothered by any of them - have heard some Rotting Christ which I quite enjoyed, IIRC.

I'll be seeing Satan at Hellfest so will make a proper judgment call on them then. Not sure about the other two. For the record, RC are on Friday, Sister sin on Saturday and Satan on Sunday.

Dimmu Borgir and Bloodshot Dawn added to the main stage.

De Profundis, Aghast! and Hellyeah added to the second stage. Hellyeah announced as playing after second stage 'headliners' Sister Sin, so would be opposite Emperor.

Hellyeah should actually be called Hellno. They're fucking awful.

I think the Bloodstock organisers just wanted to put something opposite Emperor tbh. There's 2 reason for this:

1 - There has been some hostility towards Emperor using Faust on drums due to his criminal history.

2 - for a few years people have beenrequesting viable alternatives to the main stge headliners. Last year, due to some sort of scheduling mix up, Dying Fetus couldn't make their booked set, so were allowed to play after the second stage headliners (Wolfsbane) had finished - putting them opposite Slayer. From what I heard, it went down pretty well and so this maybe the organisers way of testing it again.

In other news, Tripykton were announced for the main stage today, with Obsidian Kingdom, Jaldaboath, Stormzone and Stahlsarg added to Sophie stage.
