As with the previous tournaments, FIFA aims to create a groups of geographic separation and no teams from the same confederation may be drawn into the same group with the exception of UEFA members; a maximum of two UEFA teams per group is permitted. Due to the uneven number of teams included in the four geographic pots, additional draw procedures will be applied at the final draw to allocate the 32 teams into the eight groups:

1. One European team will firstly be randomly drawn from Pot 4 and placed into Pot 2 in order to create four even pots of eight teams;

2. The draw will then proceed with the drawing the other seven top-seeded teams into Group B–H; Brazil have been predetermined to be in Group A;

3. To maintain geographic separation, a separate "Pot X" will be created during the draw procedure into which the four seeded South American teams (from Pot 1) will be placed;

4. The European team previously drawn from Pot 4 will then be placed into the group of the first team drawn from "Pot X".

Whichever UEFA side gets put into Pot 2 is gonna end up in a group of death.

Hope it's England :shifty:

It might be Wales...oh wait.

Or Ireland...nevermind.

Or the other Ireland...nope.

Or Scotland...lol.

I'm even confused now and I know exactly when the draw is. Right, to sum it up...

The show starts at 4pm GMT and will last 90 minutes. It will be broadcast live on free-to-air-channels in 193 countries, so I'm guessing that pretty much covers everyone on here. FIFA are also streaming the show on their website.

For us here in the UK, BBC Two coverage starts at 4:30pm, which I'm guessing is when the actual draw proceedings will start.

Dunno if anyone else happened to read this article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25187878

Some interesting tidbits include that being drawn in Group G would see us play all our group matches in the hottest (northeast) part of the country, potentially resulting in a field littered with melted Englishmen before we even get to half-time. Conversely, Groups B and H do not play any matches in the northeast and remain in...relatively...temperate regions.

I like that in say, Manaus for example, the average temperature in summer (December) is 28C and in winter (June), it's 26C.

Reet parky out.
