Holt admitting to Peralta how he hurt his arm, knowing that nobody would ever believe him was pure, evil genius. Andre Baugher deserves the Best Supporting Actor Emmy, hands down I think.

Apparently, next week is the season finale because FOX didn't want to run a lot of reruns or something which makes me sad.

Wooooooah, back that up for a moment.

Did that article just suggest that there was a sexual thing about the date? I mean, you would assume that just about - but every single way that it was played (as far as I saw/remember) it had nothing to do with sex and everything about Peralta wanting to humiliate her.

I see the point made about Boyle too, but at the same time that story arch wasn't in every single episode nor did it even last a season.

I think it said it was originally about sex but the writers realized that was a bad idea and dropped it

Unless I missed something, it was never about sex and that's just an assumption the writer made about it.

I've watched every episode of Brooklyn 99 and I'm fairly sure the bet was never about sex because Santiago (nor Jake for that matter) would never agree to something like that and I'm fairly sure that a Michael Schur-produced show would have a plot like that.

As for the Boyle stuff, I find the premise of the article pretty absurd. This show is not supposed to be a representation of real life, all these characters are cartoon characters. Boyle is the most harmless character on that show and is so terrified of Rosa that he wouldn't dare think about harming Rosa for one second.

Yuuuuuuuuuuuup. I forever love anyone from The State but the worst part of B99 is the Boyle/Rosa crap. I really hope they cut it out next season.

Agreed. It feels like a misguided attempt at doing another Andy/April romance and it's not necessary. There's no real chemistry there, unlike Santiago and Peralta where I buy it.
