So my friend and colleague John Dog makes music, which he describes thusly:

A true believer in the popular song, his own are often wordy, arguably tuneful, occasionally funny, but - the John Dog Guarantee - always short.

Anyway, he recently entered a music video that he shot on his iphone 3 into the London Independent Film Festival, he wasn't expecting anything, not only because he was up against videos by actual bands like Scouting For Girls, and videos with actual famous people like Kim Wilde, but also because he made his video with plasticine and finger puppets, and he was mostly drunk at the time.

Somehow he walked away with the Best Animated Short award (Which was weird because he entered the music video category).

Anyway, he is a lovely man, and it would make him happy to see his YouTube numbers creep up.
