Aren't teams a bit wiser to 'he's had a good World Cup' these days, post Stephane G'uivarch and Liverpool briefly remembering they had Baros on their books then remembering why they weren't playing him?

El Hadji Diouf is the key example of a "he's had a good World Cup". One of the shittest players to have worn a Liverpool shirt, all he did was spit at Scottish kids and players.

Worse than Diao?

Worse than Adam?

In Chelsea outgoings, the Besiktas president has said in the press that they've agreed a fee for Demba Ba, supposedly around £8m.

Perennial Vitesse loanee and scorer-against-Newcastle-in-League-Cup-matches-that-we-eventually-lose Patrick van Aanholt has said in the press that he'll be leaving Chelsea (as though he were ever really here), but doesn't say where to.

I'd say something about Grimsby signings who were shit but I don't know anyone :(

Also no just for the fact that Konchesky despite being quite possibly one of the worst players to wear a Liverpool shirt, his shitness led to a hysterical rant from his mother sticking up.

The Sky Sports graphic I saw before posting it said £15m. But yeah, the exchange rate does match up.

But then of course, yesterday the Sky Sports graphics were claiming that Diego Costa scored 27 goals in only 4 appearances last season. :shifty:
