Brendan Rodgers keeps faith with Mario Balotelli, who starts for Liverpool against Hull. But Jordan Henderson, Philippe Coutinho and Glen Johnson drop to the bench, with Javier Manquillo, Emre Can and Adam Lallana starting. Hull goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic starts a Premier League match for the first time this season. Manager Steve Bruce also brings in Alex Bruce and Robbie Brady, in place of Michael Dawson and Andrew Robertson.
Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Allen, Gerrard, Can, Sterling, Balotelli, Lallana.
Hull XI: Jakupovic, Bruce, Davies, Chester, Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Diame, Livermore, Brady, Ben Arfa, Hernandez.
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet makes two changes from the side that capitulated 8-0 at Southampton. Jack Rodwell and Adam Johnson - who both played in the last half hour of that defeat - replace Jordi Gomez and Connor Wickham. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger restores Mikel Arteta and Calum Chambers to his starting XI in favour of Hector Bellerin and Jack Wilshere. Theo Walcott is a surprise inclusion among the substitutes after nine months out with a knee injury.
Sunderland XI: Mannone, Vergini, O'Shea, Brown, van Aanholt, Cattermole, Buckley, Larsson, Rodwell, Johnson, Fletcher.
Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs, Arteta, Flamini, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Sanchez, Welbeck.
Despite an 8-0 demolition of Sunderland last week, Southampton make one change, with Senegal midfielder Sadio Mane replacing Shane Long. Stoke boss Mark Hughes makes two changes from the team which beat Swansea in a stormy match at the Britannia. American Geoff Cameron makes his first league start of the season, while Jonathan Walters also come in.
Southampton XI: Forster, Clyne, Fonte, Alderweireld, Bertrand, Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Mané, Tadić, Pellè.
Stoke XI: Begovic, Bardsley, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters, Cameron, N'Zonzi, Walters, Adam, Moses, Crouch.
West Bromwich Albion have goalkeeper Ben Foster back from a calf injury to replace Boaz Myhill. Manager Alan Irvine keeps the rest of the team that drew 2-2 with Manchester United on Monday night. Crystal Palace bring in Adrian Mariappa for suspended defender Damien Delaney. Manager Neil Warnock makes two further changes with Wilfried Zaha and Marouane Chamakh coming in for Jason Puncheon and James McArthur.
West Brom XI: Foster, Wisdom, Dawson, Lescott, Pocognoli, Brunt, Gardner, Dorrans, Morrison, Sessegnon, Berahino.
Crystal Palace XI: Speroni, Ward, Mariappa, Hangeland, Kelly, Jedinak, Ledley, Zaha, Bolasie, Chamakh, Campbell.
