Bought it on Steam! Got my Xbox One pad hooked up to my PC ready, looking forward to a good game of cricket.

I just tried to play the demo. It's inherently unplayable. It shows me the controls as if I were using an Xbox controller. I have a PS3 controller...and my mouse/keyboard. Why they show me the controls in a PC game as anything OTHER than mouse/keyboard boggles the mind.

I just scored 23 in a game. The way I've been scoring, that's like a double century!

Fortunately my bowling is still devastating at times but just can't snag a five for.

What difficulty are you on?

Pro maybe? Whatever the standard difficulty is for career mode.

The problem with batting 7 is basically what I experience batting 6/7 in real life. Namely Kent in the game are a bit like my village team - prone to a collapse from time to time meaning that I end up coming in with the score at about 80-100 and serious pressure.

Apparently if you play the game as a specialist batsman then the starting skills are a bit higher, but for an all-rounder it's hard NOT to hit the ball in the air. I've also been bowled a few times, caught behind, run out 2 or 3 times and even edged one onto my stumps (although that gives you experience points!)

The annoying thing is that our bowling attack is pretty rubbish too so I'm often called on to bowl overs against guys who are comfortable at the crease. I'm employed as some kind of partnership breaker. I often get the wickets that way but in the four day games there's a LOT of bowling compared to the amount of batting I get to do.

Is this game worth the money to someone who does enjoy Cricket games?

Yes, at least, worth it more so than to someone who doesn't enjoy cricket.

i do like this game but career is kinda pissing me out atm im in the england team and cant hit the ball at all im out for 0 everytime no idea if its me or just very hard game at this point all other modes i played with my career player i do well and can actually hit the ball

I am not trying to disparage cricket, because from what I've seen, this game faithfully recreates cricket and it has all the options people who like cricket would want.

Bought it. Quite fun so far, though I suck at it.

Can't bat, but picked up five wickets over the first two innings I bowled in. Could have got a five-for in the second innings, but didn't realise I had to manually appeal for an LBW >_>

im doing bit better on it now just i cant get the online trophy im on ps3 and cant find any friends to challenge who have the game i need that trophy and the win 3 online games cant get either atm

I've got a friend who I play online. We just play 20/20 although lasting 10 overs is pretty impressive. The player batting second is generally chasing between 65-100.

if anyone wants a match im not the greatest but need to play online matches to as i only need 2 more trophies and ive beat the game 100% im on ps3 my tag is therealgurn
