Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps made their Champions League debut yesterday, drawing 1-1 with HB.

Sadly, the Imps were well beaten by HB in the second leg - they went out 6-3 on agg.

Levadia Tallinn and FC Santa Coloma also progressed from the First qualifying round, defeating La Fiorita and Banants respectively.

UEFA have announced a change in the suspension rules for the Champions League and Europa League this season.

Yellow cards picked up from the beginning of the Group Stage onwards will be wiped after the quarter finals, meaning that it is no longer possible for a player to be suspended for the final via the accumulation of three yellow cards. Red cards will of course still apply.

This is similar to rules already in place for other major cup competitions such as the World Cup and European Championships.
