Poor Aberdeen. Suppose its better to possibly be knocked out by a good team with name value rather than get knocked out by some eastern european team no one has ever heard.

Hull in Europe...still can't wrap my head around that. Just seems weird, we've had Wigan and Hull both in Europe in consecutive seasons...

Dutch club Feyenoord and Ukrainian outfit Dnipro have both been fined by Uefa for racist behaviour by their fans. Feyenoord fans chanted a religious insult during their Champions League qualifier against Besiktas last month. The club has been ordered to close a section of its De Kuip stadium for the second leg of its Europa League playoff against Zorya Luhansk, and pay a £36,000 fine. Dnirpo has been ordered to pay a £40,000 fine for the hooligan behaviour of its fans during a Champions League qualifying match against FC Copenhagen.

‪#‎THFC‬ team: Lloris ©; Naughton, Dier, Vertonghen, Davies; Bentaleb, Paulinho; Holtby, Townsend, Kane; Soldado.

#THFC subs: Friedel, Dawson, Rose, Chadli, Dembele, Sandro, Lamela.

Happy to see Vertonghen, Davies, Paulinho, Holtby and Soldado starting. It's a strong team, certainly taking the tournament seriously.

Hopefully Lamela gets a run out as it seems to me that the lad thrives on getting time on the pitch.

Not so happy to see Naughton, Bentaleb and Townsend playing though. Blah. Oh well.

COME ON YOU SPURS!
