FIFA 15

Let's talk FIFA 15!

Gamescom is next week and they'll be talking about the online modes - Pro Clubs and Ultimate Team - so it's worth keeping an eye on Gamescom if you play either of them.

Apparently we're getting an announcement of new PL stadiums today at 3:30pm. Villa Park has been announced already on the FIFA Facebook page:

It's a bit ridiculous that they don't have them all in already, that Premier League All-Stars game on PS1 had them all. Stadiums have always been threadbare in FIFA The selection is so small yet they have them rendered already, I don't see why they didn't lump some of the World Cup ones from 2010 and 2014 in.

In other hilarious news, the Ultimate edition for PS4 and Xbox One is going to cost €79.99 over here. I could import it and get it for less than €50 from Canada, including P+P if I wanted to.

Game prices are spiraling out of control at the moment and something needs to change that. PS3 games are more expensive now than they were 5 years ago and PS4/One games are more expensive every time I go into the shop.

Never seen Villa Park look so beautiful.

I'm still waiting for FIFA to re-introduce indoor mode. As well as having some classic teams (most other sports games have this. Not sure if this is to do with licensing or what) and also to pinch PES' random selection mode. I miss the days of choosing a few teams and getting a random selection of their players. Such a great mode for multiplayer.

What's the point in adding Villa Park as a PL stadium when it won't be in time for FIFA 16? :shifty:

Also, since I don't work nights anymore, I'd like to announce my probable Sam Hutchinson style resurrection from career ending injury.

I'm just made up they have possession tackles in. It was always a lottery in where the ball would end up no matter what type of tackle you made.

I hope they sort out red cards though, too many times I've made an amazing last ditch tackle yet get a red card despite clearly getting the ball.

I always liked that sometimes the tackles were off. I mean I'd be fuming when it happened to me but it adds a bit of realism. Wouldn't mind having a low error rate for offsides or other decisions too so that it gives the officials a bit of human error. Though that'd likely cause an actual murder at some point!

Yeah, if it's not a comeback, it's not done right. But yeah, think I was 2-0 down every single game

I'd be up for another session once the season kicks off, finish exams on the 22nd so I'm sure there'll be a game after then worth watching as my excuse to visit :(Y):
