Need help identifying a game

Didn't know where else to put this but it just jumped at me. When I was a kid there was an arcade game I used to love to play. It was stupidly difficult but basically you chose a monster like Godzilla and it looked 3D with massive monsters destroying cities and fighting each other. I want to think it was a version of rampage except it isn't Rampage like the 2d side scroller style. Anyone have any idea?

It would have been the arcade game that then got ported. Though, with my limited understanding of Neo Geo, it might have just literally been the arcade cartridge, I'm not sure if the arcade and home cartridges are different.

Here, let's do something a little more practical than Wikipedia articles :shifty:

From what I understand about Neo Geo, the difference between the Arcade and home versions were minimal since they all operated on the same hardware. The big sell to arcade owners was that they could easily swap out the cartridge in the cabinet for a new game, while the lucky bastards that owned a Neo Geo got the same thing the arcade version was.

Nah, Skummy, the other rampage games were side-scrollers. Though a 3D rampage would have been awesome.

King of the Monsters is the only thing I can come up with either. The only other thing I can think of that even remotely fits is Destroy All Monsters Melee but that was a console game and much more recent (GCN/Xbox). So that can't be it either.
