TEW13 Real World Update: February 2015

Recommended Posts

Welcome to my first proper update for TEW13.

First thing you will notice is the high number of promotions, however most are inactive, if you want to play as any of these promotions simply remove the closed year and set to Not Closed.

I have also spent the last month cleaning up stats for roughly half the workers in the game, mostly affecting the highest rated workers, if you notice anything needing changing please make a suggestion, I do tend to be rather conservative in terms of stats.

Expect a graphics pack at some point this month or next month, I intend to upload my full picture pack but I still have a lot of pics to sort through to add to it.

Database: February 2015 (Updated 2/2/2015)

Belts and Logos: February 2015

Wrestlers: Coming Soon

Helpful Guidelines

Stamina Stat To Match Length

41-53% = 10m Max

53-65% = 15m Max

65-77% = 34m Max

77-89% = 49m Max

89-100% - upto 88m

Just check out. Men you're killing TNA.

Jeff Hardy is one of the most popular wrestler in the world

Bobby Roode and Bobby Lashley with the same pop than AJ Lee ?

KENTA only 5% and Steen 15% have you watch NXT once ?

And I don't look all but dude really I'm not the kinda guy who's mean but this sounds like anti-TNA database

I know there not like WWE, but come on ...

Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle have a popularity based on the fact they could go to WWE and be among the main event, plus they are more established compared to most of TNA's roster due to their time in WWE.

Also in regard to TNA do bare in mind they have had a lot less exposure than WWE throughout the US, thats why I tended to rated TNA against WWE at a couple levels below, for example TNA main event talent should be around the same level and WWE midcard talent.

Also I will agree some popularities may be a little off since I was working from the top down and only got to the WWE midcard level.

If you want to be helpful then suggest where you think they should be, just saying "this is wrong" does not help anybody.

I just check in fact, all of your pop are too low. I mean Rollins is 60% for me it's 80

Mox 75 etc...

In the Indy scene Adam Cole should be at least 40% and there's many more

Roode 65-70 , Lashley also.

I mean sorry if I was tough but there's a lot that's not real and why did you not keep pop from the previous data ?

when will we get the picture packs?

A wrestler pic pack will take a while, check the first post for the belt and logo pack.

Thats fine but as I say giving suggestions is better than just pointing out whats wrong.

That post tells a pretty good template for things like this.

Hi, I've come around to finally creating an account here since the February database has finally been released. I won't go into the new stats since every single one is way under anything Cpt. Charisma would give and it will take a lot to get used to it, the pop neither since both the wrestlers AND the company they are working for are lower, but I will just go into the overall WWE positions for now.

Adam Rose: I say up his pop to Lower Midcarder and turn him heel.

Billy Kidman: Uncheck personality for him so he'd be a road agent.

Brad Maddox: Hmm, maybe make him an active wrestler with opener pop, I heard he returned on house shows a while back.

Bray Wyatt: Maybe raise his pop to lower tier main eventer, the guy can main event any show and the crowd would accept it without problems.

Christian: I heard he retired but still has a few months on his contract, set him to retired and check personality?

Curtis Axel: Lower his pop to Lower Midcarder.

Darren Young: Lower his pop to Lower Midcarder, last time he was on TV he was a face i think.

Dave Kapoor: Make him a road agent I guess?

Dean Ambrose: Same case as Bray Wyatt.

Dean Malenko: Same case as Billy Kidman.

Dolph Zigger: Turn him face.

El Torito: Set him to Occasional Wrestler or Manager.

Erick Rowan: Turn him face.

Fandango: Lower his pop to Lower Midcarder and turn him heel.

Jack Swagger: Lower his pop to Midcarder and turn him face.

Jey and Jimmy Uso: Raise their pops to Midcarders and turn them face.

John Layfield: Uncheck personality so he'd be a color.

John Laurinitas: Uncheck personality so he'd be a road agent.

Kane: I say lower his pop to Upper Midcarder level.

Konnor: Raise his pop to either Lower Midcarder or Midcarder.

Lana: Uncheck personality for her so she'd be a manager.

Lex Luger: Uncheck personality so he'd be a road agent.

Mark Henry: Lower his pop to Midcarder.

Mike Rotunda: Uncheck personality so he'd be a road agent.

Randy Orton: Turn him face.

Rey Mysterio: Lower his pop to midcarder and add an injury for him, I know for sure the guy wants out of contract but the WWE refuses to let him go.

Roman Reigns: Turn him face.

R-Truth: Lower his pop to lower midcarder.

Ryback: Lower his pop to upper midcarder and turn him face.

Scott Armstrong: Uncheck road agent so he'd be a ref.

Seth Rollins: Same case as Wyatt and Ambrose.

Sheamus: Lower his pop to upper midcarder.

Sting: Uncheck personality so he'd be a semi-active wrestler.

The Big Show: Lower his pop to upper midcarder.

Tyson Kidd: Maybe raise his pop to midcarder, turn him heel.

Viktor: Raise his pop to lower midcarder/midcarder.

Xavier Woods: Raise his pop to lower midcarder/midcarder.

Zeb Colter: Turn him face.

That's it for now, hopefully the majority agrees with me and these are OK :D

Card position is relative though in TEW13. Say you played as WWE and cut or sent to development everyone at Lower Midcard or below, then when you do an autopush, suddenly your midcarders (Kofi, Usos etc.) are enhancement talent. Same goes with Announcers/Colour/Authority/Personality, it originally allocates most of them fairly randomly.

As for popularity, I haven't looked at the latest data, but WWE should be at around B/B- popularity and no one on the roster should be above that, not even Cena. WWE draws, individuals don't at the minute (only exceptions might be Cena and Lesnar) and the vast majority of the roster should be C-/D and lower because no one gives a shit about them.

This x100.

No way should Rollins be a 80 in pop...

The guys TheWho have rated at A pop is a stretch. Cena should be around 80, not Rollins.

Also keep in mind a D+/C- worker depending on personality will work for a small company anything higher they will say that they are too big for the company. So unless you rate all Indy companies at regional (which is too high according to attendance) none of the workers who are popular on the internet will ever sign with those small indy companies. So its not wise to rate guys based on internet popularity (Rollins @ 80)

Good job on this can't wait to try it out later this week!

Here's how I'd have the popularities set up as far as WWE & NXT go (used the GDS guide as reference);

A*

The Rock, Steve Austin
A
The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar
B+
John Cena
B
Batista, Triple H, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk
B-
Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Sting, Ric Flair, Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Edge,
C+
Sheamus, Kane, Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry, Dean Ambrose, Rob Van Dam, Christian, Jerry Lawler, Paul Heyman, Booker T,
C
Jack Swagger, Bad News Barrett, JBL, Damien Sandow, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Ryback
C-
Cesaro, Luke Harper, Goldust, Stardust, The Usos, Rusev
D+
R-Truth, Fandango, Erick Rowan, Big E
D
Zack Ryder, Titus O'Neil, Darren Young, Sin Cara, Tyson Kidd
D-
Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Los Matadores, Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, The Ascension, David Otunga, Xavier Woods
E+
Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville
E
Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami
E-
Tyler Breeze, Kalisto, Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, Baron Corbin, Solomon Crowe
F+
Bull Dempsey, Mojo Rawley, CJ Parker, Aiden English, Simon Gotch, Marcus Louis, Sylvester LeFort
F
Wesley Blake, Buddy Murphy,
F-
Chad Gable, Angelo Dawkins, Cal Bishop, Hugo Knox, Jason Jordan, Morkeith Brown, Sawyer Fulton, Scott Dawson, Dylan Miley, Braun Stowman, Troy McClain, Tye Dillinger

Haven't tried these in-game yet so don't know how out of whack the card positions would be.

Anyways, excited to see how this mod will look in the near future. Looks very promising to say the least. Good job.

I'd argue that given those tiers, you're underrating the NXT guys. Network has 1m subscribers and I'd say conservatively, at least 60% of them would watch NXT. They just sold over 2000 tickets in a day for a show in Ohio.

Sami Zayn shows up on Raw tomorrow and he is immediately more over than Kofi Kingston for example.

Rusev, Ambrose and Heyman are way too low too. They're B- tier at least.

Case could be made for Ambrose being a B- as he's in a quite similar position to Ziggler, but just barely so maybe 72-73'ish for him? However, I don't think Rusev is quite there yet. I'd say he just barely makes a C+, so around 66-67 for him. The feud with Cena could potentially propel him to a B- tier if booked well. Agree on Heyman.

Didn't want to overrate the NXT guys so maybe I ended up underrating them a bit n the process. Where would you put them popularity wise?

edit: Changed up the popularities of the WWE main roster guys and checked how the card position looked like after that.

This is how it looked before:

Main Eventers

John Cena, Sheamus, Kane, Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show
Upper Midcarders
The Miz, Mark Henry, Dean Ambrose, Ryback, Jack Swagger, Rey Mysterio, Bad News Barrett, Rusev, Damien Mizdow

Lower Midcarders
Fernando, Jimmy Uso, Diego, Tyson Kidd, Titus O'Neill, Bo Dallas, Jey Uso
Openers
Konnor, Xavier Woods, Zack Ryder, David Otunga, Adam Rose

Upper Midcarders
The Miz, Sheamus, Mark Henry, Kane, Bad News Barrett, Rey Mysterio, Rusev, Ryback, Christian
