Yep. Mine will finish overnight, then tomorrow evening I start the EWB Fantasy league and my Braves dynasty.

Played a game as San Francisco while it installed. It's much...smoother than last year. Fielding isn't as clunky and all the animations just run together in a fluid motion. It's hard to explain, but pretty to see.

I lost 3-2. I had the bases juiced with no outs in the bottom of the 8th and failed to score a run. I did go 3-for-4 with Posey, and 2-for-4 with Brandon Belt, who had a double and home run.

I can't wait until the morning when it's fully installed so I can check out everything else.

Won 5-1, game decided I could not yet proceed to the actual game, so now I'm stuck in Giants/Royals purgatory.

The timing for pulse pitching is extremely demanding regardless of skill level. Pitches follow different rhythms based on the guys' skill and confidence in the given moment. I am a long ways removed from painting corners based on just how certain pitches moved at certain skill levels.

My plate discipline has remained the same since the olden days: wait for two strikes, then turn into Vladimir Guerrero.

How big is the download? I might be interested in picking this up, but physical copies are expensive here, and I'd also rather not be downloading for days on end. I might just stick with last year's version.

Pretty much. Even on a wired connection through a dedicated Comcast Business line, it took nearly six hours to finish.

If you reach the menus and modes before I do, please, send word back to me. I want to hear of their splendor before I die, aged 85.

I think I set the difficulty too low. I just played the tutorial game and won 8-0 only giving up 1 hit and that was with 1 out in the 9th

I'm wondering whether to pick this up. Rosters don't really matter to me as I'm a casual fan at best. I had last year's but didn't really get much time with it. Is there supposed to be much of a change?

Fuckin' Hosmer knocked a solo shot off of me with one down in the 9th. Otherwise, I would have pitched a complete game shutout. Rawr.

I think this one has the adaptive difficulty, so it'll even out soon enough.

I think the servers for '14 are about to get axed, so be aware if you wanted to throw down online. Otherwise, I didn't see much initially aside from franchise transfers (from '14 to '15) and the ability to take your RttS player to new teams.

Just crushed the Yankees with the Jays 14-5. Justin Smoak had a pinch hit grand slam. I love the small differences in animations.

It really is crazy how much prettier it is than last year. I can only imagine how crisp and fluid it will all be in a few years when they reach the PS4's potential.

Baserunning is surprisingly intuitive once I understood the basics. Looking forward to creating a speedster and getting all dem triples.

I ported over my second baseman from The Show 14, but I do want to start a new RTTS so maybe I'll go with closer or something.
