The layout for Diamond Dynasty still isn't good enough, but maybe I will adapt to the way it's all there.

The find trade feature in Franchise is massively helpful and will save a ton of time when wheeling and dealing. The only thing that sucks about it, is that so far, whenever I select a player of mine and hit find trade, it always brings up 3, and they're all from Baltimore. Little glitchy. But if I look specifically for MLB Ready or Prospect players, it seems to work fine.

Am I right in thinking that the first match is the only thing available until the game is fully downloaded/installed? Or is there a way of skipping it?

Yeah Kansas City vs San Fran is it until it's installed.

As in, I don't have to be playing the game for that to be the case?

I wasn't going to buy this. I've got exams, I've got no money, etc. then I logged on this morning and saw it was available on the EU store. So I bought it. And I don't regret it. I won't regret it even when I can't eat at the end of the month.

I like it so far. It feels a lot smoother. My buddy and I had been playing a Twins/Royals franchise and it was fun to see it moved onto the new game. We'll probably start a new one when Knights minor league rosters are released.

Oh my... this is only £36.99 on the EU store. I've never played any of The Show games, but everything I've seen about them has made me want to.

The ease of just being able to download it might prove too much to resist...

Would I regret it EWB? I love a good sports game and, despite only having a passing interest in most 'American' sports, I've enjoyed my time spent with NFL, NBA and NHL games. Is it easy enough for a non baseball fan to pick up and play?

I'm not really a Baseball fan, but I love The Show. The intricacies of Baseball...well, I don't really get them. But the opportunity to smash balls for home runs - immeasurable fun.

I can never commit to a franchise because I know I'll phase out of it when the next years game shows up. Now?! I'm starting me a franchise and I'm playing it until the God damn end of time.

It does mean that choosing who to be becomes a bit tougher. Going to be pretty hard not to pick the Cubs.

This will be my first time getting The Show for PS4 and judging from what you guys have to say about it I'm pretty excited. I usually just do the RttS but with no other games out I'm currently playing I think this will be the year I dive deep into a dynasty or two.

I do wish they would get rid of the rookie showcase, as it feels a bit meh, but hey, ya gotta set 'em up somehow.

I wish they had the rookie showcase in franchise mode before the draft. I'd like the chance to actually play with my top draft pick before drafting them. I just can't use some players no matter how good they are.

Won't be in until he plays some games in the majors.

It's normally only Major league players. So Bryant will come along with a minor league roster update I guess.
