Man City and Roma are now believed to have agreed a £14m fee for Edin Dzeko.

Leicester are discussing personal terms with Chile international midfielder Charles Aranguiz after agreeing a club-record £10.5m fee with Internacional, according to Sky sources. The 26-year-old played a key role in Chile's recent Copa America triumph and has 40 caps for his country, scoring six goals. Leicester have moved to further strengthen their midfield by also agreeing a fee of £3m for experienced Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler.

Appaz Aranguiz doesn't want to join Leicester. Shame. :(

I loved him from the World Cup. He looked like a little gangster (not racist).

Dick Advocaat hopes to be in a position to include two new midfielders, Yann M’Vila and Leroy Fer, in the Sunderland squad he will take to Leicester City on Saturday. M’Vila is scheduled to have a medical in the north-east on Monday before completing a move from Rubin Kazan. The 25-year-old France international, who spent last season on loan at Internazionale, has become embroiled in an acrimonious dispute with the Russian club and is desperate to depart. He had seemed set for another loan, with Dynamo Moscow, but Sunderland appear to have hijacked that deal and are confident of recruiting a player who cost Rubin Kazan £10m when he left Rennes two and a half years ago. Fer is expected to arrive on a season’s loan from Queens Park Rangers. Despite suffering successive relegations from the Premier League with first Norwich and then QPR, the 25-year-old Holland international is highly rated and impressed against Sunderland last season. With the Loftus Road club anxious to cut a hefty wage bill Fer – who cost them £8m a year ago – has become available and Advocaat is at the front of the queue to complete a temporary transfer.

Lyon are closing in on the signing of the Brazilian right-back Rafael da Silva from Manchester United. The defender was told he could leave United this summer after being left out of the squad for the pre-season tour of the United States. The Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas announced on Monday that the 25-year-old was in the French city before a potential transfer to the Ligue 1 runners-up. Aulas tweeted: “Rafael has arrived from Manchester, we are waiting for an agreement with MU about his transfer. He has the Brazilian good humour!” Reports in France suggest Lyon will pay up to £2.5m for the signature of the three-times Premier League winner.

2.5 mil is pretty cheap for Rafael. Be glad when he's gone, he's such a dirty bastard.

Also I can see there being many jokes relating to Kante

Brighton & Hove Albion have re-signed cult hero Bobby Zamora on a one-year contract. The former England international, who left Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season, made his name with Brighton, scoring 83 goals in just over three seasons between 2000-03.

Chelsea have told Tottenham to name their price for left-back Danny Rose, with the Blues prepared to pay £15m for the 25-year-old.(Daily Mirror)

Isn't that sort of contradictory?

'Name your price! Any price!'

'£23m'

'We'll only go up to £15m'
