***SPOILERS*** Avengers: Age of Ultron

Okay, Quicksilver dies and Vision is born of Ultron's attempt to recreate himself and he's embedded with the Infinity Stone from Loki's sceptre. Also Hawkeye & Ironman have left the Avengers, Hulk is AWOL and Thor's gone back to Asgaard leaving a new Avengers squad of Cap, Black Widow, War Machine, Falcon, Scarlet Witch and Vision. Also Thanos is on his way and he's pretty pissed.

Great film. Really enjoyed it, I liked the little interactions between all the characters, like Ultron and Witch (though I could have done with less Natasha-Banner). I like the new Avengers too, though it did make me think where was Falcon in the final battle if they got War Machine to show up <_<

Also: so, which stones does Thor know about? Because unless he knows about another one that we've not seen in the movies, it means he's aware of the Guardians now too...

Yeah he's became aware of the one from Guardians in that pool, assuming they're Mind (Visions head), Power (with NovaCorp), Space (Asgard) and Reality (The Collector) we have Soul and Time left (assuming it's the original six)

These need to come to light in the next five films I suppose (Ant-Man, Captain America, Guardians, Thor and Dr Strange)

As Thor can easily travel to space (as seen by his comrades going to The Collector) I can only assume he will be making himself known to the Guardians at some point (thusly allowing The Avengers to know of the existence of Thanos)

I guess one Gem will show up with Dr Strange and the other in Thor.

Oh I am too excited for Marvel

Yeah, I'm thinking that the Time gem will come up in Ragnarok and Soul will be in Dr. Strange. Don't think they're going to have the Guardians deal with another one (especially as it looks like that's going to be about Star-Lord's dad).

I wonder if Asgard know about The Collector trying to get another gem for himself since he already had the Aether, as they had him keep it for safekeeping since the Tesseract was in Asgard. Also wonder how his collection getting blown up affected the Aether.

I really hope The Guardians have some level interaction with The Avengers, seeing as their going down the Infinity Stones and Thanos route as the endgame.

Saw it last night, excellent movie as expected. Really enjoyed the addition of Quicksilver and the Scarlett Witch, both were very well executed. Ultron himself was amazing too.

It was so, so good! I want to see it again now. :(

I loved It. My favorite Moments:

-The Vision lifting Thor's hammer, proving the trying to lift the hammer montage wasn't just for giggles but a plot point.

-Scarlet Witch going Bruce Willis on the robots.

-The tech guy from Winter Soldier, showing up in the hellicarrier.

-Hawkeye arc was great, specially since his wife was played by Linda Cardellini.

-Falcon being honest about leaving the Avenging to Cap.

The best thing is that It feels like a comic book movie, also I prefer this version of Quicksilver than the one from DOFP,since that is how I imagine him in the comic book.

Just saw it. Thought it was fantastic. When the whole group are in the church bit at the end, fighting the waves of Ultron robots, was sheer nerdgasm material.

I'm not so sure about the new group taking over as Iron Man/Hulk/Hawkeye etc all left. The first film was a setup and the third/fourth will be endgame so I don't really think it was necessary to break up the team after their one full film together but that's literally my only niggle with it. I know it'll continue to be awesome so it's totally minor.

The Hulkbuster fight was awesome "gotosleep gotosleep gotosleep!", Thors moment of worry when Cap almost lifted Mjolnir was hilarious, Ultron was really well done, everything really was. Can we have GotG2 now please? :shifty:

I said it in the other thread, but again; this was awesome.

It's in my top 3 marvel movies now along with Winter Soldier and Guardians, just edging out the first film. The original was awesome because of the spectacle of bringing all these guys together, but this one was just such a good film all round it exceeded it for me. Re-captured that magic and then some.

The portrayal of all characters was awesome, especially Ultron and Wanda, who may well be my new favourite going forward.

I liked the introduction of Klaw, presumably for Black Panther. Loved the fact Rhodey was in the final battle, he'd already appeared in the film so why wouldn't he help his friends out? Falcon should have been there, but perhaps his wings can't get him as high up as the city was floating?

Love the 'New Avengers' and I'm sure by the time 3 comes around it'll probably see the likes of Panther, Ant Man and Strange among the ranks. I'm kind of expecting 3 to mostly focus on this group and 4 to be a balls to the wall all out effort with pretty much every character they've had all involved in some way. The Civil War may well see the team looking very different anyway.

Oh and if they want to add 'star power' to the new team, there's always Spider-Man.

I'm pretty much looking for any reason to go watch again at this point.

Yeah, these guys are mostly for Civil War, I'm sure. Since Stark will be in that as well, I'm wondering if he starts his own Avengers team, maybe with Black Panther and Ant-Man or something? Doubt the last one because Paul Rudd being in it would have surely been reported by now, but there's the scientist connection to him. Even wondered if Spidey gets a little screen time in this. If not, maybe some of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D guys, or even Daredevil (Cox has said he's contracted to do Marvel films as well).

Either way, I have a feeling part of Infinity Wars 1 will have to do with them finding Banner and needing him back badly. Damn I can't wait for Hulk versus Thanos, that is going to be insane.

Ant-Man looks like it's going to be so fun, and Civil War will probably be amazing. Can't wait. I seriously have no idea how DC expect to compete with such quality, it's why trying to copy what Marvel is doing just backfires on them all the time.

Civil War is going to be amazing.

I was gutted Falcon didn't show up in the last battle, I loved him in Winter Soldier. I can see the new Avengers team being split during Civil War. I don't see Rhodes and Vision going against Stark. I wonder if we get Winter Soldier coming into the fold in Civil War.

The worst thing about how good all these films are, is waiting for the next ones.

This was always going to be one of the hardest films to pull off - the first Avengers was a huge spectacle, the bringing together of all these characters for the first time was always going to be amazing. The second one had to be really good to live up to that original feeling - and it did. Definitely one of the best. Guardians, Winter Soldier, Age of Ultron. Not sure on exact order, but that's my top 3. Civil War, Ant-Man, Guardians 2 are all capable of breaking into that.

Such an exciting time to be a comic book fan.

I know Chris Evans has spoke about wanting to walk away.. but he has to be part of Infinity War. I can't imagine Cap not being involved in what all this is leading to.

I was thinking, about Vision lifting the hammer because he's pure and worthy. But what if The Vision can lift the hammer because Thor's DNA was stored in Jarvis' database? Which is, of course, now part of The Vision.
