All three teams in Group C have three points after two games.

Thiago Silva and Roberto Firmino scored early in each half to fire Brazil to a 2-1 win over Venezuela at the Copa América on Sunday, sending the five-times world champions into a quarter-final meeting with Paraguay. Recalled to the side for this match, Thiago Silva opened the scoring for Brazil after nine minutes when the defender volleyed home a corner from Robinho. Firmino doubled their lead six minutes into the second half when he leapt to volley home a cross from Willian on the left. Miku got a consolation goal for Venezuela six minutes from time when he stooped to head home from close range after Jefferson had touched a free-kick from Juan Arango on to a post.
Last night’s games completed the quarter-final line-up that will see the hosts, Chile, face Uruguay on Wednesday, Peru take on Bolivia on Thursday and Colombia play Argentina on Friday. The Brazil-Paraguay tie will be on Saturday.

Hosts Chile moved into the Copa America semi-finals after Mauricio Isla's late winner knocked nine-man holders Uruguay out of the tournament. Chile will now face the winners of Friday's match between Bolivia and Peru (00:30 BST) for a place in the final.

That Jara for Chile is a bit of a sexual deviant. Spent most of the game trying to grab people's groins and sticking fingers in places.

The Brazil midfielder Fred failed a doping test during the Copa América in Chile earlier this summer, according to reports in Brazil.

The 22-year-old, who plays for Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine, played in Brazil’s first two group stage games before being dropped for the last match against Venezuela.

However, it has been reported samples taken from Fred showed traces of the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide, a prohibited substance that can be used as a masking agents for others. The results of a second test will be released on Tuesday, with the player facing a lengthy ban if his second sample is positive.

Brazil were beaten on penalties in the quarter-finals by Paraguay.
