TEW13 Real World Update: June 2015

Here is the update for June, as usual most of the changes have been the typical changes per month, the big thing this month is that I have redone the match list, as a whole there are roughly the same amout of matches just cleaned up a little and I have done something similar to what I did with gimmicks so you can have a match for a specific style in those avalible.

CHIKARA notes;

Tag Teams

- Los Ice Creams should have an experience boost; they've been a team for years, yet only have an experience rating of E.

- The Colony I, Colony II, Colony III and Colony V should be changed to inactive regular.

- The Throwbacks II also need a big experience boost; they're set to E, which has them as less experienced than The Devastation Corporation, for example.

- Daywalkers should be set to inactive regular

- Haack 'n' Slaash should be inactive regular.

- Pieces Of Hate should be inactive regular

- All permutations of The Swarm should be inactive regular.

Stables

- Nightmare Warrior's should be renamed Nightmare Warriors

Workers

- Blaster McMassive, Max Smashmaster, Flex Rumblecrunch and Jaka all should be managed by Sidney Bakabella

- Blind Rage should be heel, and his gimmick changed accordingly

- Maybe rename Mark Angelosetti to Mr Touchdown? He uses that name far more frequently

- The New Day should all be turned heel, their gimmicks changed accordingly

- Cesaro and Tyson Kidd should be turned face

- Christian shouldn't be set to an in-ring push – he's retired.

- Curtis Axel should be face with an impersonator gimmick

- Damien Sandow should also have an impersonator gimmick and perhaps be renamed Macho Mandow

- Dolph Ziggler should be managed by Lana

- Emma should be heel, and probably in NXT

- Erick Rowan should be heel

- Eva Marie should be in NXT

- Fandango should be face, and not managed by Rosa Mendes

- Lana should be face

- Naomi should be managed by Tamina

- Rosa Mendes should be heel

- Rusev should no longer be managed by Lana

- Tamina Snuka should be heel

- Could probably do with overness tweaks across the board, too - Bray Wyatt, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler seem too high as all are main eventers by default, while Neville is only an opener and should probably be higher, to name a couple.

- Alex Riley should have an in-ring push, and his gimmick changed accordingly

- Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake should be heels, managed by Alexa Bliss

- Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore should be managed by Carmella

- Dana Brooke should be heel

- Rhyno should be face

- Solomon Crowe should be face

- Enzo & Big Cass should be a tag team

Starting Injuries

- Daniel Bryan should have a starting neck/shoulder injury keeping him out for quite a long time

- Sami Zayn should have a starting shoulder injury

- Hideo Itami should have a starting shoulder injury

- Sasha Banks should have a starting shoulder injury

- Goldust should have a starting shoulder injury

- Rusev should have a starting foot injury

EDIT:

The tag team "Wyatt Family #3" should be reactivated, and renamed "Harper & Rowan".

Add a tag team of Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow called The Mega Powers.

Axl Rotten should probably be changed to a retired wrestler - he's reportedly wheelchair bound these days.

Billy Corgan should be signed to TNA.

CM Punk should probably be set to Left The Business rather than Retired Wrestler.

Dory Funk Jr. should be a semi-active wrestler rather than retired; he still wrestles from time to time and filled in for Terry Funk in ZERO1 on May 30th.

Jimmy Jacobs should be set to Retired, and signed with WWE.

Kobald should be set to retired.

Leva Bates should be on a PPA deal with NXT as "Blue Pants".

Ox Baker should be removed or set to deceased. He passed away last year.

Takeshi Morishima should be set to Retired - he retired for health reasons a couple of months back.

Tommy Rogers should be removed or set to deceased - he passed away a couple of days ago.

I get it, my database is bad and I should feel bad.

A couple of those manager suggestions should already be set for Chikara and Lucha Underground, I think only Rumblecrunch had his missing, did you advance the day, might have to go through and set contract roles for all the feds, I think I only fully went through WWE, NXT and TNA.

EDIT

I like to keep deceased wrestlers in the database and just set them to deceased so if a player wishes to use them in their game they just have to make a minor edit rather than have to hunt down a database to import them in.

It wasn't a "your database is bad" thing at all, just things I noticed when setting up my game today, and had enough time on my hands to have a more thorough look through stuff that I might otherwise have done.

The manager suggestions are an odd one - looking in the editor, they're there, but they weren't showing up when looking at the rosters while playing the game - though it might have been a quirk of TEW seeing as I wasn't playing as those feds at the time, as you say.

I will admit that I dont watch WWE at all and pop in and out of TNA so have to tend to rely more on the threads for what to update.

I actually look forward to the lists for improving the data, be them long or short.

Tommy End should be set to fluent in English.

Mike Knox is no longer with TNA.

TNA Tag Team Titles should be set to Vacant.

- X-Division Championship set Vacant

None of the workers have any personality.

All the sliders on every one I've checked is perfectly centered.

Nope most of the wrestlers in the database dont have a set personallity, some major wrestlers do like Shawn Michaels but other than that theyre pretty much in the middle.

There were points when I used "Company Man" and Normal Wrestler" as defaults, however these would occasionally have some adverse effects in other areas so they were all set to "Perfectly Balanced" as a default starting point, if you have any suggestions on people who should have certain personality traits mention, also check the first post, in the spoiler tag is a section on the personality presets the game has and what they produce in game.

Here are some things for the next update:

Missing Worker:

-Cedric Rougeau should be in the game. He has been in the Montreal indies and has possibly signed something for NXT already but nothing has been announced. He is Jacques Rougeau's son.

Tweaks/Boosts:

--Adam Bridle--

-His in-ring/performance should be boosted, especially aerial. His crazy dives in Lucha Underground have also given him a bit of extra popularity.

--Bryan Cage--

-Could use some boosting. He is main eventing against guys like Alberto Del Rio/El Patron, he is quite a good worker.

--DaCobra--

His in-ring/performance should be boosted. His aerial in particular should be quite a bit higher, as he is right up there near Ricochet with his aerial abilities.

--Dalton Castle--

-Could use some boosting in in-ring/performance, and especially in Charisma and Acting. Microphone will also likely be boosted if they give him one aside from commercial spots.

--El Hijo Del Fantasmo--

-His in-ring/performance should be boosted, and his Heel rating boosted.

--Eric Anthony--

-Microphone, Charisma, and Acting should all be given a boost, especially Microphone and Charisma. He is widely regarded as one of the best talkers in the industry.

--Martin Casaus--

-His Cocky rating should be boosted.

--Quinn Ojinnaka--

-Should probably be boosted in in-ring/performance.

--Rhino--

-Is now heel in NXT.

--Rich Swann--

-Should be boosted in in-ring/performance.

--Ricky Banderas--

-Could use some all-around boosting, and also in his Heel and Weird ratings.

--Robert Evans--

-His Microphone and Charisma should be boosted, and he should also have a Manager role added in along with his current Wrestler role.

-His in-ring/performance should be boosted.

-Heel rating should be given a bit of a boost, along with Microphone.

I see the problem, if I cant get a concrete date of birth I try and get a debut year or the earliest year they wrestled and take 20 years from that, in the case of Alan Steele it was only set to 10 years.
