In less than 23 hours something is going to be announced. And with everything all but confirming Fallout 4 being shown at E3 this year, this has to be it, no?

I thought they'd announce it at E3, so if they're doing it a couple of weeks beforehand, that would be interesting. There's a level of self-indulgence in the entertainment industry that leads to announcements of forthcoming announcements, though, so there's always a chance of that too.

If they do what they did with Skyrim and announce that it's coming out this year than I might just lose all of my shit. Fallout 3 was the reason I bought a 360. Fallout 4 will surely kill me.

I'm probably the only one in the camp of them not announcing an imminent release date, but only because I already have around 10 other AAA games I want to buy

As with all things, I've never played the Fallout games, so would love if they did announce it.

If they announce it's coming out this year, it will be an exercise in self-control for me. Along with XCOM 2, announced yesterday, I'm already looking at Batman: Arkham Knight, Metal Gear Solid V and Rock Band 4, so something would probably have to give.
