I just learned about this game through Achievement Hunter. Luckily, Humble Bundle had a set with the first game included. I haven't started yet in fear of breezing through it and dropping money on this. I'm excited to see what everyone thinks though.

Also! Make sure you get the Long War mod for it. Apparently it makes the game so much better.

If by "better" you mean "agonizingly more difficult," yes.  I love TLW, but god it's impossible.

They've said they're open to it, but are focussing on PC for the moment.

Enemy Unknown complete edition is £4.99 in Steam's Lunar New Year sale.

I need to upgrade my RAM and video card first. As soon as I do that, I am getting XCOM 2. Everything I see looks amazing.

I've played a couple of hours of this and I'm having a good time. I'm still very much at the tutorial stage, but I've already come across a few new things that weren't in Enemy Unknown/Within, and they all look as though they'll add an extra layer of depth to the equation.

Played 20 odd hours so far. The game is more difficult than the first, since there's a larger pool of enemies and each having own tactics for/against them. The environment is fantastic and the destructible environment is so very enjoyable. 

The customisation has been improved from the original and still is a strong point of the game plus the whole Character Pool is create for creating characters easily over multiple play-throughs.

If you enjoyed Enemy Unknown then you'll love XCOM 2.

I got it...it's HARD. But fun! Making your friends and watching them die is kinda hard though

I've already messed up my first playthrough. I'm starting again, hopefully having learned from my mistakes.

I started a game and named my squad after various members of Man City's first team. They all died and I laughed.

Like in XCOM, I sucked my first bit to the point of being screwed.

I have only one non-rookie not on the shelf for 7+ days, I'm low on funds, I screwed up my research/engineering path, and yeah....screwed myself.

Think I am gonna restart tomorrow.
