Week 17!

We've got @Ziggy Srardust vs. @ADG going head on this week for the final User/User game of the regular season.

Final week of the regular season folks! Taking a look at the playoff picture and in the NFC we've got 5 teams locked in for the playoffs with one final Wildcard spot still available. Seahawks beat @billyzzz80 but the Saints also won to keep @Big Hairy Man Face still in the picture. So, and this is just a guess since Madden's tiebreakers are confusing, the Saints need a win and a Seattle loss to the Rams in order to tie records and clinch the final post season spot. Both teams have 3-2 division records ATM so with that the Saints would edge out with a 4-2 division record and take the spot. I think. >_> Also @Cactus Drags could still grab a bye week if he wins and some type of combination involving the Packers/Vikings, I know more great in-depth analysis.

Now over in the AFC it's a little more up in the air. Home field advantage is still open and it's a three team mix that involves myself, the Titans, and Srar. If I win I'm guaranteed a bye but it's a bit more tricky for them with tiebreakers and what not. @Asuka's Gonna Kill You is pretty much locked in a Wildcard spot since he's two games behind me eventhough he has 12 wins. The rest is all CPU tiebreakers so no one cares. Unfortunately the Chargers are eliminated already BUT they could spoil Srar's chance at getting home field with a win this week.(Go ADG!)

After you get your game try and take a second to nominate three players each (from your own team) for MVP, OPTY, DPTY, and we'll go with a single nomination for ROTY since I doubt we have more than 1 outstanding rookie on each team. So something along the lines of this:

MVP

1) Player A (Stats)

2) Player B (Stats)

3) Player C (Stats)

and the so on for Offensive and Defensive player, plus your Rookie nomination.

Good luck!

...and go ADG! >_>

@ADG when is good for you to disappoint DYSI? :P

With the time difference I think sometime tomorrow would be best for me. Away on Sunday and Monday for most of the day after that. What time would suit you?

Finished off with a strong 20-45 win against the Colts, got a bit greedy at the end and it cost me extra points by going for silly stuff when I had the game sewn up. Took the rushing TD record in a season with Bell, ridiculous game for him to finish things off with over 200 rush yards.

Finished out with a win against a strong 3 win team. The Bills recovered an onside kick and I had to stop EJ Manuel at the two yard line to finish them off. I think I'm going to finish as the top seed in the NFC.

Finished with a win over Arizona, hopefully done enough for a bye, I think I need Detroit to beat the stinking cheeseheads. I actually finished with a better record than last season, but my team hasn't felt nearly as strong this time around.

2) Cam Newton QB 240/383 (62%) 3170 yds 26 TDs 23 INTs / 376 yds 2 TDs rushing

3) Luke Keuchly MLB 99 tackles (17 til -  2nd NFL) 1 sack 3 INTs 1 forced fumble 1 TD

OPTY

1) Cameron Artis-Payne HB 1635 yds 16 TDs 149 rec yards 1 TD

2) Cam Newton QB 240/383 (62%) 3170 yds 26 TDs 23 INTs / 376 yds 2 TDs rushing

3) Greg Olsen TE 63 catches  757 yds 10 TDs

DPTY

1) Vlad Lee SS 107 tackles (11 tfl) 6 INTs 2 forced fumbles 1 TD

2) Tre Boston FS 90 tackles (4 tfl) 5 INTs 1 TD

ROTY

Vlad Lee SS 107 tackles (11 tfl) 6 INTs 2 forced fumbles 1 TD

Also I think there should be offensive and defensive rookies of the year. Mainly because I've never had a rookie do as well as Vlad Lee and he's obviously not going to win over a fancy pants glory boy quarterback *hmph*
