Only played the intro but my God it is intense and well, won't spoil it but what a ride and possible nods to the other games.

I've just found out that there are no difficulty setting for this game, although an extra hard mode can be unlocked after the main story is finished. I hope the game isn't too hard, or I might have to use the chicken suit.

Higher difficulties comes from playing missions through on higher difficulties, I thought? Same as Ground Zeroes?

If you keep dying you get an option to make the game easier by wearing the chicken hat, the enemies will think you are a chicken and be easier to ignore you but you have to wear the hat for the rest of the game because you are a chicken.

From what I've read, the higher difficulties are only available to those who finish the story. Otherwise, there's just a default setting. Really, though, playing in a chicken suit might not be a problem.

In that case, gun and run.  You can win by shooting up a place but it is harder in the main. The game plays alot like Peace Walker for those who have played that, and can't say much more for spoiler fears but it is most certainly a damn good MGS game.

Peace Walker was the only one I wasn't keen on :/

mainly because of how it was 'missions' rather than a flowing story.

The story, as per Metal Gear, is confusing and kept under cover as you go along.

Is the gameplay essentially the same as Ground Zeroes? I really like that, especially the stealthing. And I don't usually even like stealth that much.

Yeah pretty much, the game is split up like Peace Walker but I think it is more an attempt to hide obvious loading times.

And can't somebody else get this game fast so I can talk spoilers with them?
