Things I never thought I'd see:

Going back to my England game heading into the 2018 World Cup. The European International League (the thing replacing friendlies or something) draw puts me with Portugal and Spain in Group 2.

The others in Division 1 are: Fabio Capello's Italy, Greece and the Ukraine in Group 1, Group 3 is Holland, Germany and Sweden whilst Arsene Wenger's France go up against Belgium and Switzerland. Top team in each group qualifies for the Semi Final, bottom team gets relegated into Division 2 and could be replaced by Ireland, if they get out of their group of Russia and Bosnia.

Down in the 14 team Division 3, Wales get put into one of the groups of 4 with Finland, Montenegro and Bulgaria. Northern Ireland and Scotland play each other in the other group of 4 along with Lithuania and Denmark.

Gibraltar are in the 16 team Div 4, and get Moldova, Georgia and Belarus.

Resigned the England job, and see that Uruguay, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Spain... and France are all looking for new managers... not sure if I want to jump straight back into international management, but its tempting...

Booted up an old game from a while ago, I've been without my PC for many cold months. My most recent save has seen me start at Orient, get them promoted, get them relegated, go to Kansas, win the MLS, leave for Spurs and the England under 21 job. Interesting. Still can't buy a win in the league tho.

Turned down all the international jobs I got offered (France included) and now no big clubs are sacking their managers. I was getting three job offers a month back when I was England manager. :/

Damn it. I did so well surviving the winter sale and I thought I was in the clear until the summer one. I'm having so much fun with my current game on 15 though. I wish I had more self-control.

It's still cheaper elsewhere in the UK, if I may be a little cheeky. I usually hold off until the final patch is out, so I'm not picking it up yet, but it seems to have held its price a little better this year than it has before by this point.

Yeah, IIRC it's a feature the Handheld version has had for a few years so they brought it to the main game.

Isn't there some kind of draft/fantasy mode this time too?

It's the single most annoying part about "upgrading" to the latest version. I can't play without them, either.

I have a load of bits I need to download as well (namely the new kits and the rest of the faces megapack) which is just going to make it longer. Gives me time to have a dummy run to see the new features though I guess.
