Indeed.  As of my post, you have just under 4 hours until Goldschmidt is yours.  If Matt misses two picks in a row in this fashion, I'll either assign him someone or remove him and switch to Roto (depending on what you all prefer).

I think the fair thing to do is give people time to check in and see what's going on.  I also don't mind the idea of giving someone other than the highest ranked available guy, but we need to hammer that out as a group as opposed to telling him "here's Julio Tehran, spin on him".

In football, I just use ESPN's list and then give them the highest guy available, in respect to their positions of need.  In this case we left it open for Pepsi to have a legit claim to Goldschmidt, so I wouldn't give him to Matt over the guy that is actually here and posting.
