Narcos

I think this show is so good it deserves it's own topic.

Narcos is a show produced by Gaumont International Television for Netflix about the rise and fall of infamous Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar (played by Wagner Moura who you might know fromt he Elite Squad Films and from a small role in "Elysium"). The story is told from the perspective from two fictional DEA agents Steve Murphy (played by Boyd Holbrook with a bad mustache) and Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal aka Oberyn Martell from GoT) who where send there to bring him down. They use a mix of their own footage and real news footage to tell the story which I love because it reminds you that all this insanity really happened. The first season premiered in the end of August last year and covers Escobar's rise to infamy from 1975 to his highly publicized prison break from his own luxury prison "La Catedral" in July 1992.

The 2nd Season will cover the last year and a half of his life and debuts today.

I still need to watch Season 1. I heard it was really good though

It really is. I was so gripping that I had to binge it within 2 days.
