Antonio Brown got paid. 4 years/$68 million.

And Le'Veon Bell has been franchise-tagged.

The Giants have placed a franchise tag on Jason Pierre-Paul.

The LA Chargers have placed the franchise tag on outside linebacker Melvin Ingram, per multiple reports.

What's the 49ers cap space like? I could imagine Jeffrey plus Cousins or Garoppolo instantly upgrading their O a decent amount.

They could have as much as $100 million to spend. So yeah. Get ready for Alshon Jeffrey or Kenny Stills to receive a lot of money from San Francisco.

Cousins or Garoppolo is a different story since that's more about giving up picks than just straight up money but I wouldn't be surprised if they go after either of them. Though I also wouldn't be surprised if they go a more conservative route and sign Brian Hoyer to bridge the cap for whatever rookie they draft.

The good news with a complete rebuild is that your imagination can run wild with possibilities! (and ultimately end up disappointed)

You might want to get the sauce ready as unless he's taking a pay cut to play in GB then they're not going to spend the money to get him.

The Giants are theoretically a good landing place but I don't really want him at the price he'll command. I don't think its possible anyway after tagging JPP.

I'll drink hot sauce if that guy doesn't end up in Green Bay.

Quoting this for future reference.

Washington have franchise tagged Kirk Cousins again.

KC will definitely franchise Poe.

Been chatter that even though he got tagged, Cousins would prefer to go SF.

Charles and Peterson are both good veteran options. I think AP is expecting a ton of money and that money might not wind up being there. Meanwhile, Charles will probably take less and wind up in the GB backfield.

Surprise surprise, the Jets are releasing Revis.

If the charges end up getting dropped I could see him getting a chance somewhere. Too many teams desperate to stop the pass that a player with his resume has to get a look or two.

Kap is done in San Francisco.

It looks like we're going for an RB, either via FA or draft (we've been looking at Mixon, which I have mixed thoughts about). Eagles are apparently interested in Charles.

Kap may be done, period.

I doubt that. His numbers last season were OK. At the right price, someone will take a chance on him.

Yeah he wasn't terrible and given how desperate teams are for QBs he'll get a shot somewhere.

I'm sure that's part of it but he also has to evolve how he's talking about the issues he wants to bring awareness to otherwise he'll just get tuned out.

Here's to him standing on one leg this season!
