***spoilers*** TEW16 Real World Update: May 2017

Here is the update for May, the biggest update this month is that I have updated stats for all active female workers, all active Mexican workers, all active Japanese workers and all active workers under contracts. You may also notice one less promotion this month as JWP closed in April, I am planning on replacing it but I want to finish updating all active workers before adding any promotion. On top of that I am thinking of upping the number of promotions to 50, this would mean the option of adding six promotions, currently I'm thinking at adding ECCW and Crash and possibly removing C*4, I want to try and spread the promotions around each region and not have them all bunched in one area. Beyond that I haven't updated much beyond what's been mentioned in the threads and the typical updates for the month.

Also I'd like to ask whom ever pins and sets the automatic lock for the thread to set the automatic lock to happen a day later, this is to allow me the option to give an update on the 1st if I have an issue, plus also allows me to edit my first post and copy it over easier.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is [Promotion] closed when they are active?
Due to how slow the game runs with more promotions active, I have included active promotions but have them closed, to identify these they have their opening date and closed date the same. To activate the promotion simply remove the closed date. They may also have their titles histories included, if they do you need to go into "Title Lineages" and remove their most recent record (identified with a "= -" or "= - #" before their record name). You can then activate the title (all closed promotions titles are retired) and then set the champion if they are under contract.

A few things I've noticed setting up a game today;

- Tyler Bate should be set as able to work in the US and Canada, currently he's only active in Europe and the British Isles.

- Rhia O'Reilly should have a starting injury - she has an ankle injury at present, keeping her off Pro Wrestling: EVE shows this month, with no timetable for her return.

- Eddie Kingston shouldn't have a contract with CHIKARA, he no longer works there.

- Jakob Hammermeier shouldn't have a contract with CHIKARA, as far as I know he hasn't appeared for them in over a year.

- Mike Quackenbush should be set to semi-active, he's worked a handful of matches in the past year

- The Estonian Thunderfrog no longer works for CHIKARA

- Ultramantis Black should be set to active, not retired

- Moustache Mountain aren't the current Chikara Campeones - Crummels and DeFarge are.

- Solo Darling should have a CHIKARA contract

- Proletariat Boar of Moldova should have a CHIKARA contract

- Max Smashmaster should have a CHIKARA contract

- Dahlia Black should be removed from the Progress roster, nationality changed to New Zealand (if it's an option?), and changed to based in Australia (as I don't think the game has New Zealand as an area?); her visa has expired.
- Same for TK Cooper.
- Paul Robinson should be set to either retired, on hiatus, or with a starting absence - he's either retired or taken indefinite leave due to illness. 

 

This was probably discussed around the time of the UK Title Tournament, but any thought given to how to reflect the UK guys under WWE contract? Tyler Bate, in particular, I feel should be on a PPA with WWE?

New Zealand is an option for both Nationality and Based In.

Thanks - I was in the main game, not the editor, when I noticed, and didn't have the game to hand when typing up notes. I usually turn Australia and sometimes Europe off at the start of the game to reduce loading times, so I'm not too au fait with how it's set up in-game.

In the Locations database, with the Colisée Pepsi being no longer active, the Centre Videotron should be added. 18 259 seats, opened September 2015. Basically the same other stats than for the Colisée Pepsi.

 - Set Taryn Terrell to "Out of the business" she found religion sometime back and has left the business for foreseeable future according to interviews she has done. 

- Amazing/Awesome Kong is working on the GLOW series on netflix would it be worth adding a "movie star" other genre for her? I know its not technically movies but would account for her realistically needing to take time off now and again to film. Could probably add the same for Jessie Godderz aswell as he always seems to be taking leave of absences from Impact to film outside TV projects. 

- Change Shynron's main name to Zenshi and make Shynron an alter ego. He changed his name to Zenshi a while back when he appeared on a TNA ONO ppv thought it was maybe a TNA thing but it seems its his own and since then he has stuck with the name everywhere - https://twitter.com/ZenLucha

- Remove Matt Sydal from ROH. According to PWInsider (http://www.pwinsider.com/article/109585/roh-star-finishes-up-last-night-at-war-of-the-worlds-and-more-ring-of-honor-news.html?p=1_) he finished up with ROH last night and is signing an exclusive deal with Impact wrestling. 

- On the other side of the coin its heavily rumoured that Cody Rhodes is to sign exclusively with ROH so may need to remove his impact contract soon. interestingly Brandi Rhodes has removed all references to Impact from her social media accounts so i'm taking it they are both gone. One to keep an eye on before the next update. 

- New title for NJPW to be added, the IWGP United States Championship - http://www.cagesideseats.com/2017/5/12/15633942/njpw-new-japan-pro-wrestling-creation-iwgp-united-states-championship-g1-special - belt looks ugly as hell btw.
