That's great if you're a big Cena fan, though I'm sure it costs a bomb.

Does that mean, eventually, general sale will also gain access to DLC of Batista, RVD and the retro Cena and Angle?

Eventually. But it won't be covered by the season pass.

$149.99

That's not a typo.

So if I understand them right and all the DLC is also in the Deluxe pack you are paying $70 extra for

A Cena Autograph
A Cena toy
Some Supercard cards that are probably like rares or something else worthless

That's the way I understand it as well, and not being a fan of Cena, means I'll be buying the Deluxe version.

That's just the way that some people are with editions. All depends on what you like the most I guess.

I'm happy I landed the Breath Of The Wild special edition, especially for the huge box that it came with. Some people are going to be jumping down throats to get those Cena editions, but I doubt they'll be making THAT many of them.

How well did the special Hulk Hogan version sell a few years ago? I've seen people selling bits of the ring canvas for under £10.

The Pop Vinyl is still worth $50 or more, depending on where you sell it.

They didn't make all that many of the Hulkamania editions really. I remember EB Games having a hard allocation on that one.

It's either 2500 or 25000. I saw a video of Cena signing the cards but can't remember how many. It's one of those numbers though

Having used to work in the autograph market a few years ago autographs just don't sell the way they used to.  I think if you're a Cena fan or a 'Special Edition' collector, most people will opt for the Deluxe.  When I watched the trailer and saw it was Cena I was a bit disappointed because I thought I was gonna have to pay extra for RVD and Batista because I didn't have any want of the 'Exclusive Physical Merch' and I'm sure a lot of people will feel the same way once they learn that Van Dam and Batista are apart from the Deluxe

I cannot begin to fathom why anyone would pay over the odds to have Batista and RVD when both have been included in the game for free more often than not in previous years.

More people would probably pay it to get the season pass and everything, and I suppose it's not as if people are going to play 2K16 just because a certain wrestler that they like is in it. They'd want to play the new one because it's the most up-to-date with the newest features and all that, and having their favourite wrestlers in it would be worth the extra money, I suppose.
