I'm avoiding the teaser as I've been told there are quite a few spoilers in it and nothing will convince me otherwise. Got my tickets booked for 7:30 that evening. Unfortunately, some people won't be out of work for the earlier screenings but we always go together. I'm definitely excited.

AMC and Alamo Drafthouse are going to do full MCU marathons with every movie up to and including Endgame.  59 hours.

At least at Alamo you can order some meals and get drunk during it.

Jesus. I wish theaters would do a more spaced-out version for those of us wish to be alert and sanitary for all of our viewing. Like, there could have been double-features every week since January. And you could still put Infinity War right before Endgame.

So that's how she'll help defeat Thanos...an army of Mini-Marvels!

Both days are working days. So I'm probably switching my leave from Good Friday to the 24th (if that's possible, at that) and then going to be on like 3 hours sleep on the 25th, or I can also see if I can take the 25th off. Sounds really appealing, actually. Wish they were Thursday and Friday instead of Wednesday and Thursday, though.

Theaters are now adding more show times to meet demands for Endgame.   The theater I'm going to has 24 on Saturday, another one nearby has 42 across all formats, just on Saturday.

On the other end of the spectrum - Marvel released a new "trailer", but it's mainly just narration from characters over footage from all of the other movies. It's effectively a retrospecive of the MCU so far, with maybe 10 seconds of new footage.

Finally watched Ant Man and the Wasp and it was pretty good, glad I waited to watch it on TV though, I think I'll keep my "only go to the cinema for ensemble ones/big ones" rule going.

My only real gripe is that after happily binning James Gunn for yonks they're happy to fill a chunk of a film with Morrissey references. Fuck off Morrissey.
