EWBFF B-League Season 7: Courtney Brown Edition

Well it's that time of the year again guys! Another installment of the B-League is upon us. This marks our 7th season and my fourth as your commish (my how the time goes by!). We've built ourselves a nice little lineage, and I'm proud of the continuity and rivalries we've built. We may not have been around as long as the A-League, but like Smackdown Live, we are still the superior show. We've retained 11 out of 12 players from last year, and here's hoping to another great year! In honor of noted Browns fan Berober, our draft bust idol this year will be Cleveland's infamous 2000 first overall pick DE Courtney Brown! Anyways, here's the rogues gallery:

1) River City Renegades (Slogger) - Slogger avenged his rookie season playoff chokejob in 2015 and torched Berober and DFF on his way to capturing the 2016 crown in only his sophomore campaign. Will he have a chance to enter the illustrious 2 time winner's circle occupied only by yours truly? (lol no)

2) Deandre Levyathans (DFF) - DFF's 2015 rookie season was mediocre (6-8), but he finished with a rock solid 10-4 record in 2016. The infamous mid-round auto-drafter came up just 3 points shy of the championship, falling to Slogger in dramatic fashion and claiming the silver. Can he build upon his success in his third campaign

3) Intentional Fumble (Berober) - My arch-nemesis enters is a certified B-League veteran entering his 5th season. Impressively, he as never missed the playoffs, making them four years consecutively. His resume includes the 2015 title and two bronze medals in 2013 and 2014. He came up short last year but did defeat me for the bronze. He is still not as good as me though.

4) Eden Valley Vargas (HC) - IT IS I, YOUR COMMISH AND THE ONLY TWO TIME (BACK-TO-BACK) CHAMP IN B-LEAGUE HISTORY. I had a shit 2015 (7-7), but I scorched the league last season, capturing the regular season crown with a 12-2 record. Unfortunately, I pulled a 2015 Slogger and choked in the playoffs. Here's to my fifth season being better.

5) Shitfuck Bitchasses (DavidMarrio) - The Shitfucks are a B-League staple coming into their 4th season. DavidMarrio has never had a losing record (Mr. 7-7) but he also only has one playoff appearance under his belt to show for it. He did win the consolation bracket but that's like being the most polished turd. Can he finally shatter the glass ceiling?

6) Trans-asy Football (MTForbes) - Forbes is another core B-League member entering her 5th season and my number 2 rival. If Berober is my Joker, she's more like Poison Ivy or something. She finished last year a forgettable 7-7 and looks to return to the playoffs in 2017.

7) House of Gullen (Munky) - Munky is a veteran entering his 5th season, but he is truly the JTG of the B-League, never obtaining a winning season. But hey, if Jinder Mahal can become WWE Champion, who's to say this isn't Munky's year?

8) Steeler Nation (Asuka's GKY) - Askua made his debut last season and finished a meh 6-8. Lower midcarder at best! Hopefully 2017 is more productive.

9) House Targaryen (Mick) - Entering his fourth season, Mick seeks to rebound from a disappointing 2016 and finally crack the playoffs. He has the number one pick now so no excuses!

10) Thunder Rhodes (Jake O. Rhodes) - After a not-so-impressive 4-10 rookie year, here's hoping Jake can make an impact in his sophomore effort.

11) Rock Chalk Boys (James Ewing) - Ewing has finished in the cellar in each of his first two seasons. After finishing dead last in 2016, he can only improve!

12) Stifle Tower (Pooker) - Our only rookie this season. Let's see what Pooker can do. His username does not inspire much fear, however.

Quick Notes
- Draft will last 16 rounds
- Order is obviously snake-style, meaning if Mick for example picks last in round 1 then he picks first in round 2.
- I will keep the draft results updated in this post. Make sure you look over it before making a pick to avoid picking someone already taken.
- We're playing under 1 PPR rules. Passing TDs are worth 7 points a piece, meaning QBs are a little more valuable
- Roster consists of: 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 3 FLEX(RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF, 7 Bench Spots
- Waivers will be rolling and reset weekly with lowest record getting top dibs

- Draft will start August 1st
- Each person gets 12 hours to make their pick. Time limit may be shortened if we run too slowly towards the later rounds. Try to move quickly.
- Be a pal and tag the person who picks after you so they know it's their turn.

- I'll be lenient on late picks in the first couple of rounds, but as we move along if you don't have a list you're getting Yahoo's best available at a position of need, with the option to correct the pick if you make it back before the next person.
- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE: If you think you might get busy, be asleep, etc, please send me a list of players you want, in order. This makes everything run so much smoother and prevents you from missing a pick. I will do my best to PM you guys when you're up but no guarantees, so please consider giving me a list. Lists will be critical to finishing the draft on time as we get deeper and time limits shorten.

I full expect auto pick to give me Ben Roethlisberger and Andy Dalton with back-to-back midround picks when I'm away at Bloodstock....

Thanks for letting me join. Had a pretty crappy season of fantasy last season in the other leagues I'm in (even finishing second to last in one I'm the commish of). So I'm looking forward to a bounce back year and showing y'all what this rookie gots.

Considering I won both this league and my own commish league last year, I'm a near certainty to miss the playoffs this year.

But who knows now that you've poked the dragon @HC - We going Back to Back son!

From which timezone are we taking the start date? Only ask as I know we are spread quite wide across the world and I have an early pick - I know exactly who I am going for and don't want to hold anyone up. :)

Mick is US Eastern time zone but honestly  if he wants to pick a little earlier than midnight his time that's fine.

I was thinking more about someone like Slogger, for whom it becomes the 1st much earlier. Could Mick pick at that point?

It's been the first here for just over an hour, Not that I care as I'm picking 9th and on nights off so I'll probably be in bed soon anyway.

GMT or #1's Timezone's probs the best way to do it but I'm not @HC
