Crazy, Kapernicj is mobile like Mariota. Kaepernick could probably win them some games.

Only in the KKK would anybody prefer Weeden over Kap. The Dolphins not signing him made sense. The Seahawks passing on him was a little iffy. But the Titans not signing him, despite, like you said, Kap having a near similar skill set as Mariota and instead signing the human statue that is Brandon Weeden is the ultimate "fuck you" that so many people have been clamoring for.

The first rule of signing a replacement player should be: "Were they drafted by Cleveland? If so, then HELL NO!"

Unless they got in touch with Kaepernick or his agent and were actually turned down, or couldn't negotiate a deal, there's no excuse for signing Weeden. The Titans won't be winning many games, if any, with him on the field.

Weeden was objectively one of the worst first round picks ever.  I mean he was really bad first and foremost.  But even if he had somehow been good, the dude turned 29 early in his first season and you'd be having to start thinking about your next "QB of the future" by the time his rookie contract was finished.

They literally didn't even consider him but felt besides Weeden luminaires such as T.J. Yates and Matt Barkley deserved "a look".

Also Cam Newton kicked off the wear pink month with a sexist response to a female reporter, so that's a pretty NFL thing that happened.

So according to Tariq Nasheed, we're all white supremacists for saying Cam Newton is asshole.

I don't disagree that there's a double standard - especially from the Trump supporters.  But to act like Cam's comments are nothing but a witch hunt and should be entirely swept under the rug is stupid.

This is just blatant race baiting, and it takes away from what the real goal should be.  There should be zero tolerance for racism, sexism, or homophobia no matter who says it.

There's definitely a double standard, but that doesn't mean you need to defend Newton.

Even the report I read on the private conversation looks bad for Cam. Less sexist, because he apparently thinks all reporters are lacking in football knowledge, not just women. He also didn't know the reporters name, despite her covering the team for a year.

Who is Tariq Nasheed ?

Film producer.  Evidently the reporter had made racist tweets several years back, so he's now taking the approach that everything the reporter said should be thrown out and that she's trying to blow it out of proportion because she's racist

Looking through his Twitter he very much appears to be someone who throws the race card into the mix over literally everything.  Like this:
