Fortnite Battle Royale

This looks like a pretty fun free to play game, they've introduced squads recently so it might be a lark to get a few of us together to shoot some people. It's basically PUBG with a different art style.

My first attempt went well...

Played this last couple of nights, started to get kills now! As well as a couple of top ten placements. It does have a real "one more go" quality to it.

Yeah I've enjoyed the little I've played. Looks fun and I'll probably get better as I actually learn what I'm doing.

Who has this for PS4? I'm downloading it now. I just assumed you'd have to have Fortnite to play the Battle Royale mode. I didn't realize it was completely free.

Someone more often than not always jumps out the bus far too early... or forgets to even jump out the bus. I know i've been guilty of both

I played one round, got one kill and then got killed. I had no idea what I was doing and I didn't know the buttons.

I played three games.

1st game: Collected dozens of things and was killed without even seeing who was shooting me.

2nd game: Found one gun and a dozen bullets. Thought I had more ammo and died in a gun fight when I ran out.

3rd game: Best yet. I survive to the top-25, despite not seeing anyone. A guy runs by me and I blast him with a shotgun! And another! He shoots me in the head and I die instantly.

Three games. Three deaths. No kills.

Woah....you can just get Fortnite Battle Royale? You don't need the game?
