Had a good draw earlier today, placing as top 20 and ended with three kills before dying to hubris. I got a pick that late in the game and went to loot too quickly, getting picked off in the process. Still my best to date. I just need to make myself do more with the resource building aspect so it feels less like PUBG.

Fortnite is going to be free itself in 2018. The pay for BETA thing was kinda sneaky - especially for the dollars amounts it sells for.

I've got to experiment more with the crafting system.  Seems like regardless of what you build, people are just going to shoot it down immediately and then shoot you.

It still very much feels in beta at the moment. The weapons are inconsistent and the building mechanics are a bit iffy. Could also do with vehicles being usable. Good fun for a quick blast though.

Let's just say I expect at least a little bit of protection from structures I've built.  When they're shot down immediately regardless of what I've built, that gets a little frustrating and makes me wonder why I bother building things at all.

I played with some buddies from home a few nights ago. It was fun, but we would always die so quickly. Considering the load times to get into a game, it sucked the fun out of it a bit. Fun overall though.

If I had paid for the game, I'd say I'm not getting my money out of it. But the fact that it's totally free, I can't complain too much. I'm still not very good, but it's fun for the few minutes I'm alive.  We do need to get an EWB PS4 squad together sometime soon. I'm home today, so if anyone wants to jump on, just tag me on here.
