Image quality on loading screens

Recommended Posts

I've made some GFX Loading screens and for whatever reason the images come out with horrible quality. This has never happened before. They are simple images 800x600 and put into the GFX folder.

I´m running EWR 4.2 on Mac OS Sierra through WineSkin Winery.

Anyone have any clue on why the image quality is like this? It happens with the default loading screen as well. Thanks!

The correct scaling for the game screen is 794x568. It's just always been rounded off as 800x600 for reasons I don't know.
The scaling shouldn't cause that discoloration issue with the images. You could try the correct scaling to see if that works but it could be something with how Wineskin sees the image?
I don't use Mac so I'm of no help in that department.

I've found that the problem isn't my custom graphics/wallpapers --- it must be something with Wineskin because ALL graphics look discoloured and pixelated. Take a look at the wrestler profile pics. They are all discoloured, yet they are the stock images that come with game. It's only when you click on wrestler profile pic that the pictures looks clear and in good quality

This is in addition to the original problem - where any wallpaper graphics set I use also look distorted in the Options menu, and when the actual load screen appears, you can see saturated lines and fuzziness. In this case it's not that noticeable but YMMV whenever I load up the game.

EDIT: I tried switching the Wineskin Wrapper engine to an older version WS9 1.9.20 so that it matches what was available at the time, but this did nothing. Graphics are still discoloured.

Any thoughts/solutions?
