Why did the Bears draft 8 in round one but it looks like they go 7 in round 2? Or am I tired and counted wrong?

Guessing that you finished with the same record as another team? So the order of picks alternate every round.

Correct. Like Denver had the #5 in the first, but the #8 in the second, because we tied at 5-11 with Chicago, Tampa, and the Jerts.
