The short one has abandoned you!  But I welcome you into my loving embrace.  Let's draft fantasy baseball teams yeah?  Look, a randomly generated draft order!

We're going to begin now, but I'll be loose with deadlines until people actually check in here and confirm they are paying attention.  Once deadlines are imposed, if you miss one, I'm auto assigning you the highest rated players according to ESPN's projections at a position you need.  Don't want that to suffer that entirely fine and perfectly acceptable fate?  Don't miss deadlines, or if you know you're going to, send me a list.  Hell you can even just authorize me to pick for you, and I'll do it fairly because I'm not afraid of any of you.  ESPECIALLY YOU CLOUDY, YOU HEAR ME?

We are drafting for the following

1 Catcher
1 First Base
1 Second Base
1 Third Base
1 Short Stop
1 Left Fied
1 Center Field
1 Right Field
1 Utility

2 Starting Pitchers
2 Relief Pitchers
3 Pitchers who are starters, relievers or like you know whatever

2 Bench Spots

That's an 18 round draft, so we have better get moving.  Its possible we won't actually start scoring until the second week of the season, hey, it happens.  There's also two disabled list spots because wow Midget was cruel only giving you one.

THE SHOHEI OTANI CONUNDRUM
Since no one gave me feedback on my idea, we will be running two Shoheis.  You got Shohei the pitcher and Shohei the hitter, and you could draft one or the other.  Or if you're lucky, both!  Or if you're like the majority of the league, neither!  Please specify which Shohei you are drafting.

I swear I gave feedback on the Ohtani thing. I'd prefer that he was only on one team. I'd say the team that drafts him gives up their next pick.

The problem with that is that is it isn't for sure that he's going to be an every day hitter.  The person who drafts him as a pitcher might not want to have to use a roster spot for him as a hitter, especially if he turns out to be not that great against MLB pitching.  And if you allow them to drop him, then you're allowing for someone else to pick him up, which is kind of the same as two different people drafting him to begin with.  Typing this all out, I realize its incredibly stupid that Yahoo didn't just give him utility and starting pitcher eligibility.
