Wolves are in talks over a deal to sign Valencia right-back Joao Cancelo, according to Sky in Italy. The fee under discussion is in the region of £35million (€40m), Sky in Italy are reporting. Portugal international Cancelo was on loan at Internazionale last season and is represented by Jorge Mendes, who has a strong relationship with Wolves.

Lichsteiner and Sokratis are both very positive moves for me. We have plenty of options and talent in the attacking areas but it’s obviously no secret that we need to add tough and steeley bastards in the defensive areas and that’s what both of these guys are.

Just as long as they’re not followed by Fellaini.

Also, we've confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Shakhtar for the transfer of Fred.
