That’s shitty. He seemed like a really cool dude from the Pantera home videos I’ve seen (my friends were huge fans and I was a fan by proxy).

He was also a genuinely phenomenal drummer. I feel like it maybe gets masked by the heavy hitting Pantera sound, but he was really good in every aspect.

I like a lot of Pantera's stuff, even though Phil Anselmo is an unpleasant man, so it's sad to see another member gone. Vinnie Paul seemed a bit like Kerry King in that he was a scary-looking man who was actually laid back and down-to-earth in interviews.

Sad to hear this, I love Pantera and was talking to a friend just last night at my regret that I'll never get to see them live. I did at least get to see Vinnie live in Hellyeah, so for that I'm grateful. He seemed a really cool guy.
