***spoilers*** TEW16 Real World Update: July 2018

Here is the update for July, I would hold off releasing until tomorrow or Sunday but it's just waiting to see any title changes happen today or tomorrow so anything big can go in next month or in a revised update. The big news this month is the addition of two new promotions, Major League Wrestling and Tokyo Joshi Pro, on top of that Lucha Underground has had a roster overhaul based on the episodes that have so far aired for season four, anyone who has not appeared this season has been removed. There has not been as big worker addition this month compared to last month, mostly filling gaps in rosters (FULL LIST HERE). The planned picture pack update this month has been pushed back simply because I keep finding more pics to cut and people to possibly add, will definitely get it out next month one way or another, other than that just the typical updates and changes posted in the threads.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is [Promotion] closed when they are active?
Due to how slow the game runs with more promotions active, I have included active promotions but have them closed, to identify these they have their opening date and closed date the same. To activate the promotion simply remove the closed date. They may also have their titles histories included, if they do you need to go into "Title Lineages" and remove their most recent record (identified with a "= -" or "= - #" before their record name). You can then activate the title (all closed promotions titles are retired) and then set the champion if they are under contract.

As per last nights impact - there is a split in the LAX faction with the original LAX combo of Hernandez and Homicide returning as heels to aide King (Eddie Kingston) in his battle with Konnan and the current LAX (Ortiz, Santana & Diamante). The originals and King will be going by the name of the OGz.

 

- Set Konnan, Ortiz (Angel Ortiz), Santana (Mike Draztik) and Diamante as babyface and the only members of the LAX stable.

- Create a new stable called the OGz with members King (Eddie Kingston), Homicide and Hernandez and set all as Heel.

After hearing the Celeste Bonin podcast with AJ Brooks I think its safe to add a "Best Friend" relationship between Celeste and AJ.
And since Celeste was announced for the Mae Young Classic (and also wrestled a few matches over the last few months) maybe set her back to Active Wrestler (or at least Semi-Active for now depending on what she will do after the MYC)

Just a heads up on the WWE NXT: United Kingdom set up, they will be as a child company, compared to how NXT is, this just allows the wrestlers to work other shows while also allowing WWE to sign and send people there. At the moment I only have staff signed and have put Robbie Brookside & Johnny Moss as Owner/Booker/Agents, Johnny Saint as an Authority Figure and Chris Sharpe, Joel Allen & Marc Parry as referees. I've also added the Tag and Women's titles (retired till they become active) along with a UK Tournament title.

EDIT: Hamada was sentenced to probation, that could lead to 18 months of prison in Japan.

Remove Sienna from Impact Wrestling. Her contract recently expired and was not renewed, she has been removed from the active roster list on the impact website and removed all mention of iw from her twitter. 

 

Add Mj Jenkins to nxt she had recently signed a developmental deal.

Anything to support this, I've seen articles saying she has gone to jail but they may be a translation issue.

First, I would just like to thank you, Who, for the work/updates you put into this game. It's really a robust universe. 

I'd like to add to here (if it's not too late for the August update):

Former UFC Champion, Cain Velasquez, trained at the Performance Center recently. Nothing official with him transitioning, but could be setting himself up for a post-MMA career? 

Would you consider him for a candidate for updated workers?

Add Scarlett Bordeaux to impact wrestling. She was revealed as the mystery bee knockout in a vignette last night and is set to debut next weeks episode. 

Add a starting absence for Brooke Adams she is pregnant (two months in) so won’t be taking bookings for wrestling for a good 7+ months at very least.

Change the status of TJ Wilson to "Retired Wrestler" and his Role from Wrestler to "Road Agent: Usually"
For his WWE contract change him to retired Wrestler, set his Role to Road Agent and remove Nattie as his manager.
Also remove the starting injury for TJ Wilson.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet he said that he works as an producer for WWE right now.


Quick Question about Broadcaster Deals:

Impact has a deal with Twitch (US) which only airs in the US but in real life you can also view the shows in all the other areas. Should Impact have a deal with every Twitch area or should there only be on Twitch broadcaster?

The problem there is broadcasters have a limit on the amount of promotions they can work with, before I had these internet broadcasters set up worldwide but take for example pivotshare who do all these promotion networks, if they get to their limit they won't allow other promotions to join, and many promotions went straight for them at the start of the game, it also cut down a loophole to get promotions global pop over quicker.

AJ, Celeste and Big E are all really close friends. Big E and Paige are the only WWE people AJ apparently has anything to do with and Big E has been all over Celeste's instagram. .
