How does the IR slot work?  I have Wentz in the IR slot, but when I tried to add a player after dropping an injured player, it says Wentz no longer qualifies for the IR slot

It's based on their status.  He's currently listed as doubtful, which would mean he isn't qualified for an IR slot.  I think they have to be listed as Out to qualify for it.

Correct, it is only allowed if they are Out or on IR. Any other injury designation or SUS is not able to use the IR spot.
