You gotta assume that takes New Orleans out of the Patrick Peterson chase then. That was one of the teams that he supposively had interest in/had contacted Arizona regarding him.

It seems like the Cardinals are content with making him unhappy and keeping him there anyways.

DENVER -- Denver Broncos backup quarterback Chad Kelly has been arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass.

According to the Englewood Police Department, Kelly was taken into custody early Tuesday. It's not clear if he has an attorney to comment on the case.

According to court records, a man and woman told police a man came into their home uninvited after 1 a.m. Tuesday and sat down on the couch "mumbling incoherently."

The records say the man chased the intruder out, striking him in the back with a vacuum cleaner tube.

Police say they found a man nearby matching the intruder's description and identified him as Kelly, who is 24.

Court officials say Kelly posted $2,500 bond and is due back in court Wednesday. In a statement, the Broncos said they are disappointed and are getting more information from Kelly.

Kelly, chosen by the Broncos in 2017 with the final pick of the draft, played well in the preseason and won the No. 2 job. But despite Case Keenum's struggles at quarterback, Kelly has not thrown a pass this season. The Broncos signed Kevin Hogan as their No 3 quarterback at the start of season and have carried three quarterbacks on the roster all season.

Kelly, a nephew of Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, started his college career at Clemson but was dismissed for conduct detrimental to the team in 2013.

After a year in junior college, he went to Ole Miss, where he was named starter for his junior season. In 13 games, he passed for 31 touchdowns passing and rushed for 10 more. He tore his ACL and lateral meniscus in his senior year.

When he was an Ole Miss signee in 2015, Kelly pleaded guilty to a non-criminal charge of disorderly conduct and agreed to 50 hours of community service following a fight with bouncers outside a Buffalo nightclub.

Another thing about the Giants - all of Gettleman's free agent signings this season have played terribly, but none moreso than Nate Solder.  He's honestly not been any better than Ereck Flowers was last year, and he's getting paid $15 million a year to get pushed around week after week.

I was so wrapped up in the desire to replace Flowers that I never considered that, much as I may love to hate him, Belichick typically knows when to cut bait with guys.  If he thought Nate Solder was still a franchise left tackle worth, he'd have found a way to keep him around.

Was just coming here to post that! Fantastic trade! Best run defending DT/NT in the league!

What a steal by Detroit.  How the fuck did the Giants get less for possibly the best run stopper in football than they did for a cornerback who got suspended by the team last season and hasn't looked good since rookie year?

I give Gettleman zero credit for tearing down this roster at the deadline.  He should've been starting to rebuild this team in January.  Instead he completely misevaluated Manning and the rest of this roster, gave out a ton of bad contracts and going all in on trying to turn a 3-13 team into a playoff contender in one offseason.

One is 23. The other 30. Pretty simple, really.

That still doesn't mean that a 30 year old averaging $7M/year is going to have the same trade value as a 23 year old on a rookie deal. Like, I get that Apple hasn't been great but he's still young and barely removed from when he was a 1st round pick. He's going to have more value.
