Packers have a new head coach.

Love the trend of hiring guys who once talked to Sean McVay. Won't backfire at all.

Also, why are we having a Carson Wentz debate? Dude was MVP caliber on a team with a fantastic o-line in 2017, and then he was still really good on a team that until a few weeks ago had a sieve for an o-line this year. He's going to set the franchise back when he starts making $30 mil a year and they have to retool through the draft, but he's a long term solution. Foles... isn't. He honestly isn't that good against zone coverage and has some other holes that Wentz doesn't. But what he did have last year and he has again this year in excellent pass blocking. That goes such a long way. Joe Flacco won a Super Bowl MVP because Bryant McKinnie decided to actually give a fuck in the 2012 playoffs.

To be fair he also talked to Kyle Shanahan too!

I think it's a pretty good hire though. Between McVay and Shanahan there aren't too many other coaches in the league you'd rather learn playcalling and design from.

@The Chiksrara Special and to anyone else in Chicago or nearby. Feel like trying to earn free beer for a year? Think you can kick a 43 yard field goal yourself?

I bet a lot of people can kick a 43 yard FG. Now if they can do it in a playoff game, with a shit ton of fans screaming their lungs out, and with people twice their size rushing at them, that's a different story.

People trying really hard  to push a narrative. LaFleur was picked because everyone wants their own McVay and this guy was his OC.

Titans were 9-7 and missed the play-offs by 1 game. The reason they didn't get in was because Blaine Gabbert was QB against the Colts in week 17. Also because Mariota is also very average. Caldwell had his chance as HC, twice! Losing a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning is hardly something to brag about when he went 2-14 without him.

NFL owners want young offensive minds and lets ignore the fact that everybody is gonna throw money at David Shaw if he ever wants to give the NFL a go.
