    EWBFL (PS3)

Sign me up for the Dolphins my PSN is bfgthefuture
  2. I'd join one if it was organized and people got involved.
  3. My PSN name is BFGTheFuture and I play NBA 2K9, Madden 09, Fifa 09, NCAA Football 09, COD: World at War and Fight Night Round 3. Feel free to challenge me anytime, I suck but still play. I'm really tryna run some COD or 2k9 with anybody from EWB so message me I'll be on all day.
  4. Seriously though, an EWB game of Warhawk would be awesome.
  5. Ugh, The Pacifier. I wanted to say that one. I heard Will Smith turned down a role in The Matrix for Wild Wild West. Not that it's changed his career much, loved him in Pursuit For Happyness. Even so, that was one forgettable movie. You can add A Vampire in Brooklyn and Haunted Mansion on that list of Eddie Murphy crap roles. EDIT: Almost forgot I Spy and Showtime. Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. Tsk, tsk.
  6. "Why don't you just give me a bottle of scotch and a handgun to blow my fucking head off!" Too bad this isn't the favorite movie quotes thread. But I did enjoy the ending of The Departed.
  7. I haven't played it yet, but I do plan on getting it. I love the Tiger Woods games, way more interesting than watching golf, and easier than playing golf. I read something about being able to put your face on the characters, have you tried that?

    Madden 08

I got it yesterday for the PS3, and it's really fun, I like it a lot so far. But my question is, this is what I haven't heard about yet, and I know I should've, but what's up with the commentary? I go on to play a game, and all I get is the stupid play by play guy from the radio show. Isn't there something about Monday Night Football? EDIT: Nevermind, I found the answer to my problem. There is only local radio commentary for the home team. That's pretty cool I guess, because it creates a little bit of authenticity, there's 32 different radio commentaries (or so I'm told at least). Still, Madden and Michaels are the voice of Madden. I haven't heard MNF commentary yet, but I guess from what I'm hearing, it's not all that great. Oh well, that's really my only problem with the game so far is the commentary. Time to turn up that iPod then?
  9. Okay, I finally played this game for the first time ever at my friend's house, and I gotta admit, I love it. It was fun playing two player, doing a duet thing or whatever. I found doing a duet one better than battles actually, because if one person is doing bad, it'll make yours sound shitty too, and that sucks. I know it sounds dumb for most, but I found the controller more fun than the guitar! Really! Flipping the triggers were more enjoyable then the guitar. Either way, I plan on buying it, and I wish I actually discovered it sooner.
  10. Haha alright good. I looked at a picture of him, and started cracking up. But, some people have said Bubba Sparxx is alright, so I kinda thought of him as big Bubba.
  11. I don't know if you were kidding or not, but to hell with it, I'm downloading his stuff now. Legally, of course.
  12. I didn't go to his stand up comedy, but he was here in Seattle, and a couple of friends of mine went, and they said he was actually hilarious. So maybe, he could actually be a funny guy. Not just "acting" funny.
  13. But I always tell everyone, if anyone could've done it, it was Nas. Once he started changing it up, and going a with more mainstream sound, instead of staying with that underground feel like the Illmatic and It Was Written CD's, I knew he wouldn't be the next Tupac. Once I heard Hip Hop Is Dead... I knew that we wouldn't get another Tupac. He kinda broke away more and more of that lyrical flow, and a little more into putting out singles. I'm not saying he sold out. But I am saying, he isn't the same Nas when I hear songs like "The Message" "Life's A Bitch" "Memory Lane" "The World Is Yours" and "Halftime" it makes me remember of what great music was like. I don't feel all that great about his newer albums. But, Nas is the closest second we have, and I think, ever will see.
  14. I think T.I.'s overrated. Really do. His old stuff was alright, that Trap Muzic CD was hot, and I thought he was going to breakthrough the rap game. He did, but I've heard people call him top 10 all-time, sometimes even top 5 all-time. I see him barely even top 25 on my list. Like Lil Wayne. Yes, Lil Wayne is A LOT better than T.I. And don't get it twisted I like Weezy. He's filthy for sure, but once again, top 5 all-time? Lyrically he's great. In time, he could, and likely will be one of the best ever. I don't see him ever topping Tupac. He releases a hell of a lot of mixtapes, but most is on already used beats. He doesn't release his own solo CD's enough IMO. He really only released Tha Carter I and II by himself IIRC. The rest are mixtapes, or with Birdman. Nas released eight solo albums, Jay-Z released eleven. Hell, Tupac released six albums when he was alive. Add with six posthumous albums, thats twelve damn albums! Lil Wayne's released five so far, even though like I said, the first three aren't noticeable. I'm just saying, these guys like T.I. and Lil Wayne need some more credibility releasing more albums, spending more time in the rap game, before being called some of the greatest of all times. They can't be called great with talent alone.
